Disable Unix and Mac in Photoshop 7?

I am working with Photoshop 7 and I am having issues with the file names being truncated when saving JPGs. I was told that I needed to "uncheck Mac and UNix file name compatibility in the file name options, but cannot find this. Thank you...

I suggest you ask such specific questions in the PS forum in the future, especially since you are using legacy software and obviously installing is not the issue you are having.... To answer your question: These options are available in the Save for Web dialog, when you select Custom Settings... in the pop-up at the bottom. I recommend you save a preset so these options stick for future use.
