I have recently upgraded from CP5 to 5.5 and before that used CP4. I have noticed a big difference in system resource requirements relation to the memory resources required to run the software, especially when performing some functions like changing the mouse pointer or deleting a slide. I never checked the memory resource requirements with CP5 but it ran very well.
I still have CP4 on my PC so opened it to compare the two and found that CP4 is running at a fraction of CP5.5's resources which peaks at 400,200 K. Is this an anomaly on my PC or is normal for CP5.5. to be this taxing on the resources?
On my system (Win 7 64-bit) CP5.5 uses 208.000 k when starting with a blank project. Captivate 5 and 5.5 are does require more from your computer than the old Captivate 4.
