Stan Jones Apr 5, 2012 7:59 AM (in response to Schmidt_127_New)Create a new project and try to import a m4v that was successful in the past. If that is okay, create a new project and try your current problem one. If not okay, you can focus on the new one. You want to rule out a larger issue with your computer or the Encore installation.

Schmidt_127_New Apr 5, 2012 10:43 AM (in response to Schmidt_127_New)Stan,
I created a new project and brought in an old m4v file and it imported correctly, no problems....I tried to bring my bad one into that project and gave me the same error message, then i created a completely new project and it would not bring it into that project either.
I feel it has to be the file itself....I have not updated my system, added any codecs etc....no changes to machine.....
I have changed from H264 blu ray to mpeg2 blu ray preset and neither worked.
My original file in Premiere Pro is only 2 video layers and one audio layer.
The original 4 clips from our camera (Panasonic AG-HMC 40)
The associated audio file
And one additional video layer that contains a small bug in the corner...
This is a really simple project.
In the export dialog box:
Format: H.264 Blu Ray
Preset: HDTV 1080i 29.97 This all matches the source footage//project settings etc...
All of the other options match up to my source footage in the lower dialogue boxes.
I selected VBR 1 Pass (i normally use CBR)
24.99 for Maximum bit rate
20 for target bit rate.
I have rendered this video exactly like my other ones....
Thanks,

Stan Jones Apr 5, 2012 10:55 AM (in response to Schmidt_127_New)I would look further in PR. Corrupt clip? Export only work area, for half of sequence (or a small bit etc).
