      First of all sorry for my English.... However, I have a Spark List as component of the main application(made in Catalyst) and I would to make the border of that list invisible...

      I tried to set borderalpha = 0 and the property borderVisible = false , but the border is still visible...why? could you help me pls?

      thanks

          this is working for me.

          <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8"?>

          <!-- dpcontrols\sparkdpcontrols\SparkListSimpleNoDP.mxml -->

          <s:Application xmlns:fx="http://ns.adobe.com/mxml/2009"

              xmlns:s="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/spark"

              xmlns:mx="library://ns.adobe.com/flex/mx">

              <s:layout>

                  <s:VerticalLayout/>

              </s:layout>

              <s:List borderVisible="false">

                  <mx:ArrayCollection>

                      <fx:String>Flash</fx:String>

                      <fx:String>Director</fx:String>

                      <fx:String>Dreamweaver</fx:String>

                      <fx:String>ColdFusion</fx:String>

                  </mx:ArrayCollection>

              </s:List>

          </s:Application>
