I have recently upgraded to AE CS5 from CS4. I render out movies to go from my Mac to a Ki Pro Recorder in an Apple ProRes HQ format.
In CS4 under Audio I can add a compression for "24-bit integer" then choose either "Big Endian" or "Little Endian" as far as options. To work with the Ki Pro.
In CS5 I do not get this option under the Audio Compression settings. There does not seem to be any Audio compressor for 24-bit in it. All the ones listed in there if I use them turn the audio into a jarbbled static storm on the Ki Pro.
Is there a way to get the 24-Bit Compressor in CS5?
Don't think so. It's no doubt a side effect of CS5 being 64bit and certain 32bit CoDecs and components not being available there.
