bfento Apr 10, 2012 11:37 AM (in response to bfento)CLARIFICATION: The MSO is a SLIDESHOW, and NOT an IMAGE SEQUENCE as I stated above.

Ivan Mironchuk Apr 11, 2012 7:52 AM (in response to bfento)You cannot "layer" a button over an MSO. What you should do is create a nested interactive MSO. Take the button you want to use, place it in the correct location and then Edit->Cut. Then go to your MSO panel and choose the "star" button next to the "new state" button. This should be the "Paste Copied Objects into State" button. Paste the button into each state of your slideshow and it should work. NOTE that after you paste in your button, the actions for the button are removed, so you will need to reset the correct action for the button on each state again.

bfento Apr 11, 2012 11:33 AM (in response to Ivan Mironchuk)Thanks Ivan, but I was already doing that. But it's good to know that you cannot put a button over a MSO.
However, I'm experiencing other problems when following your guidelines, as expressed in my other thread. Here is a recap:
Everything works as intended on my computer using CS5.5, but it's wonky when created with CS5 on my work computer... Embedded hyperlink buttons don't always work (unless I physically move them around and then back to the intended location in a given state), and when they do work, the links are clickable and active even if not present in the current state, which I DO NOT want or understand...
Is no one else experiencing this with CS5???
Thanks!

bfento Apr 11, 2012 12:04 PM (in response to bfento)Well, perhaps I have found the solution to my problems... It seems my workstation computer is on v17 of the tools... I'll test it all again on CS5 once the IT guy installs v18 (we're not going to v19 yet) - I hope he caves in and gives the iPad team the permissions to do these updates ourselves...
