How do I install an older version of Flash Player?

I've tried deleting the current updated version and then installing the older version, but a message window comes up (one from Adobe) telling me a newer version is available.  It won't let me install the older version.  How can I get around this and install the older version?  Thanks.

You have to uninstall (not delete) the current version first; perhaps try using the uninstaller from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html

Download the old installer from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/archived-flash-player-versions.html

You may need to disconnect from the Internet to prevent the installer from checking for new versions.
