Do you want the the back ground color for the entire text to be modified or only for what is entered as new text?
TextField and TextArea have a property called backgroundColor
and Text has one called opaqueBackground
Only for the text that is entered.
I would use a List with each new test entry as label. And then change the back ground color of the label.
Excellent idea. Do you think creating a new label every time a person types something would be memory intensive on the application?
Sorry, I should have explained clearly. I mean use a list with a custom item renderer which extends from label.
item renderer are used I believe depending upon the number of visible items in the list.
