    Site menu buttons

    mynameissam.co.uk
I have a menu that is consistent throughout the site, one frame that spans the site.

If the current frame is the frame targeted by the button then it goes to the next frame. I need to find a way of detecting the current frame and telling the playhead to stop if its the right one.

I know that actionscript 2.0 can't target frame labels (which would be perfect). And I don't want to use frame numbers because the site will be updated regularly (and i'd have to keep track of all the numbers)

      Any ideas?

i think i have got you right???? you are completely new to this????

make a new layer in your time layer, right click on the time line frame where you want it to stop and insert key frame. with the key frame still highlighted go to actions menu, global functions and time line control, go to the stop control and double click. a (a) appears in your time line.

          good luck
