Sounds like the installer file got corrupted during the download. Can you send me the installation logs? allenp at adobe dot com. In the meanwhile - try this, trick from Remus; Try installing one of the CS3 products - its possible that it will be able to cleanup the security mechanism for you. Let me know if that works. Our engineering team is working on a solution - these failures have so far been fairly isolated, but we want your experience to be positive from the outset, and we appreciate you letting us know there was a problem.

Thanks for the quick responses. ^^
For the first question, I'm running Windows XP - duel core, 2 gb ram, 150gb hd space, SP2, exceeding the requirements for the program, needless to say. lol
In regards to the install log, I was unable to find it and the error log comes up empty. But I did the install of a CS3 product and I was able to open up Director without any issues. Thank you so much for the assistance. ^^ If you need me to look for the install log and post details to possible resolve this issue in the future, please let me know.
I am also having problems running the Adobe Director Trial Version and don't know where the log file is.
