The way you can do it by using buttons to show the images. Then you use a
script to show the correct button when a company is selected.
Ok. I created the buttons. Can you give me a sample script?
Let's say one of the buttons, the one with Adobe's logo, is called "LogoButtonAdobe" and you want to display it when "Adobe" is selected in a drop-down.
You can use this code as the custom validation script of the drop-down:
this.getField("LogoButtonAdobe").display = (event.value=="Adobe") ? display.visible : display.hidden;
You can use this code template for the rest of your buttons.
I copied your script and changed the names of the fields. However, none of the logos show.
Did you set the drop-down to commit its value immediately? If not, it will
only take effect when you exit the field.
Also, are there any errors in the JS console?
The trigger is set for Mouse up. There are no errors.
It needs to be a custom validation script.
That worked. Now what do I do if 2 companies share 1 logo and all the others use differnt logos. How should the script look?
That would require using an if-statement to check if the value is of either
company, or simply creating two buttons with the same image. That might
make things easier to set up and maintain, and wouldn't require any changes
to the script.
