I'm not sure I follow. Your transmit output in CS6 should mirror what you're getting in the program monitor - as you noted, we'll do pulldown conversion on the fly when you drop in 24 fps content into a 30 fps sequence, so AFAIC you should get the same via Kona / DeckLink. Are you not seeing the same fielded output on the external monitor?
(I don't have a system with transmit in front of me, so I can't physically check it right now, but I can verify on Monday, although on an mxo 2 mini.)
I think what he wants is a 29.97 output when using a 23.976 sequence. He wants the hardware to add the extra frames during live output from that 24p sequence.
Same here, looking for thunderbolt adapter to add the pulldown so that 23.976 sequences can be viewed via HDMI connection to a consumer monitor that only does 1080p or i at 29.97. Been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what box is needed, AJA's T-tap looks promising but, it isunclear if it does tha. According to rep at Black Magic, their ultrastudio express doesn't handle the hardware added pulldown. As near as I can tell, only the MX02 series from Matrox is claiming to allow for 23.98 monitoring capabilities, but their online info is as clear as mud and the mini unit is very limited for I/0 options. If AJA's T-Tap adds the proper pulldown on the way out, or if BlackMagic could add that feature into an inexpensive box, that would be the perfect solution for us Macbookpro users.
BlackMagic responded to me about the issue saying to drop the 23.98 sequence into a 59.94 timeline and playback, monitor from there...a little clunky but could at least get to see real video. Will post more once I get the unit.

For myself, that's just not a viable solution here. Hardware makers need to add the ability for their hardware to perform realtime resolution and frame rate conversions to match the capabilities of your display device.
