2. Re: Is it possible to open a pdf so that it is not full screen?
whatalotofrubbish Apr 22, 2012 7:29 AM (in response to Sudarshan Thiagarajan)Thanks!
That works fine once set up, but for many users they, like me, will not be aware that this setting exists.
Is there any way that when a browser links to a .pdf it can tell acrobat what scale to open the pdf without the user getting involved?
Or do I need to post a link on my site telling people how to do it?

Sudarshan Thiagarajan Apr 22, 2012 8:27 AM (in response to whatalotofrubbish)I'm assuming you're creating your own PDF file.
In this case, open your document, press Ctrl + D (Win) or Command + D (Mac) and you could choose Page Layout options that you want your users to view by Default. Then save your file. Acrobat will retain your default preferences on other systems.
