    Slow performance on Mac.

    appie-s

      Thanks Steve, will continue here.

I really would like a solution. Sorry I sounded like that but I was a bit (a lot) frustated.

      My camera is: JVC GZ-HM335

      Resolution: 1920x1080 pixels, 24Mbps

Project settings I don't remenber but should be PAL 1920x1080i

      Mac: Intel i7, 8gb ram

It's almost impossible to move around in prel.

      Thanks in advance.

When you first import your video into your project, is there a red line over the timeline?

If yes, that means your project is not correct for your video

          .

Report back with the codec details of your file, use the programs below... a screen shot works well to SHOW people what you are doing

If you have a red line over the timeline after importing a video and before adding any effects... your project is wrong for your video... read above about codecs

Once you know exactly what it is you are editing, report back with that information... and your project setting, and if there is a red line above the video in the timeline, which indicates a mismatch between video and project

            Hello John,

There is no red line in Timline while imporeting the video

This is the output from MediaInspector:
