I'm not sure what you try to accomplish here.
Could you provide some screenshots?
Are you saying that every state of your button in itself is also a button? Why is that? What for?
You see I'm a little confused over this issue…
Hm. After testing button creation I guess what you like to do:
0. You have a rectangle that holds an image
1. You convert that rectangle into a button object
Now "normal" state is defined
By clicking "mouse over state" and "click state" you'll end up with the same image in all states.
The links panel now shows the same image three times!
2. Now you want to change the two images in both states beneath "normal", in making the "mouse over state" the current state of the button and replacing the image against a new one by placing/replacing.
That does not work. The new image always goes to the "normal" state.
My solution would be:
go to the links panel and replace the images there.
But only if I get your situation right. After rereading I'm not so sure any more…
Are you trying to create interactivity for PDF files or for SWF files?
No, I'm not sure I explained it right, I'm sorry. I'm a bit flustered by this and was up late trying to figure it out. I meant each state has it's own image and I can't seem to get them to show up per image. I'll take some screen caps!
SWF file, Steve.
Go ahead. You have my attention :-)
The adding the files to the layer worked! I feel like a complete dummy for not thinking about that. Thank you for your help!
