    Splitting a spread in two?

    John Hawkinson Level 5

In the scripting DOM, how can I break a spread of non-contiguous pages into two?

That is, I have this arrangement:

And I want to put pages 4 and 7 on their own spread, like this:

Does anyone know how to do this in the scripting DOM?

I can add a spread after the [4,7] spread, which would be a new [8,9].

Then I can move page 7 after 8, giving me a 3-page spread (now [7,8,9]) and delete the first and last page of the spread, 7 and 9.

That seems horrible. is there a better way?
