I hope someone can help. I have searched all the usual design sites but can't seem to get a clue to wether what I need is possible. I am new to web design but have written a site that has a newsletter page. When the client has finished reading the pdf and closes it - the site closes. How can I make sure that they go back to the newsletter page when they close the pdf. I have set the target in the links property bar to target blank thinking that since it opened in a new window when users closed that window they would be back on the main newsletter page. That is not happening so any help would be appreciated. Thank you. Snaps_246
Make PDF open in a new browser window or tab like so:
<a href="newsletter.pdf" target="_blank">Link to PDF</a>
ADDED: When site visitor closes the PDF window, the main site page is still open in the other browser tab/window. You must trust that people know how to use their browsers.
