With which part of it do you need help? Just switching to a page with JS is
very simple. Simply set the pageNum property. For example, this will cause
the document to jump to the first page:
this.pageNum = 0;
I'm new to this java script - so I need all the help I can get on how to start it. I have a trusted function to combine 3 of my pdf doc & now I want to do internal hyperlink - I have read up on js developer guide, but was kind of confuse on how to start. It has example of set action go to hyperlink. Do you have any example on internal link?
It's the same, just use the code I provided earlier. So if you have a
variable "link" which is a Link object, you can use:
link.setAction("this.pageNum = 0");
So instead of the URL I just replace it w/ whatever word that I want to link to? Will play with this - thanks....
No, that's not what I said... You can link to a page number, or a named
destination. That's all.
hi try 67,
I was able to created a link to a page - that works - but how is the go to named destination work? Can the named destination go to a title name of the page?
This statement doesn't work
createLink1.setAction("this.gotoNamedDest('ARP MEASUREMENTS TEST DESCRIPTION'););
You need to create first the named destinations and then mention this name in gotoNamedDest. Unfortuanatly we can not create named dstinations using java script.
Just to emphasise: named destinations are a separate list in the PDF, nothing to do with the bookmarks or anything else.
