Which Internet Service Provider are you using? You can clear this condition by completing solution 1 in Troubleshoot Adobe Download Assistant - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-download-assistant.html#main_Solutio n_1.
Thanks Jeff!: Internet Explorer on Windows Vista. ADA dowloaded, though cannot open trial version After Effects. Have removed cookies and history. ADA is installed but "error 107" appears when trying to download AE. Other programs seems not to give problem.
Yes other users have reported this issue but neither myself or my colleagues have been able to duplicate the issue. This is why I am trying to find out the ISP which you are using. So far though users have not been providing that information for some reason. My hunch is that I can probably track down the issue to be being related to a specific Internet Service Provider.
You can follow the steps listed at http://forums.adobe.com/thread/981369 to initiate a direct download. Again though please respond to this thread with the company you utilize to provide you Internet access.
