Can you create a slideshow within another MSO?

I have a scrolling frame with links to an MSO outside of that frame, inside that MSO I want to have a swipe slideshow on a particular state, is this possible? I can't seem to embed the slideshow or create the MSO as there's already one in the stack.

It looks like it can't happen as the option is greyed out but thought to see if there's any tricks I could use, or if I can achieve the same effect in a different way, or even the right way ;D

I haven't ben able to achieve what I'm trying to do yet, I'm sure this must be possible, It's probably a case of 'can't see the wood for the trees' and I'm just looking at it the wrong way being new to this an' all... any pointers much appreciated.

I have a large MSO space that is triggered by links in a scrollable frame. I want to change the type of interactivity in this space based on the buttons pressed. The only way I have been able to 're-use' the space to allow different functionality is to generate a new MSO and position it under the other MSO (in layers) with 'Hide before playing' checked. This brings up a the new MSO when triggered by the button but I obviously can't then get back to the original MSO unless I reload/re-set the page.

Is there a way to 'switch between' MSO's in the same space?
