Adobe Media Encoder exchanges presets using the EPR file extension, so custom presets can be easily shared.
From the help file:
Encoding presets for AME 5.0 are saved to the following location:
- Mac OS:<drive>/Users/<user_name>/Library/Preferences/Adobe/Common/AME/5.0
In Adobe Media Encoder CS5.5 and later, the encoding presets are located in the same location as the Adobe Media Encoder CS5 files.
To import an EPR file, click the Import button on the AME settings window and browse to the file. Note that you must be in the correct format for that preset (so if it's a preset for FLV, you must have selected FLV from the format dropdown before trying to import the preset). Of course if you have defined a preset for a codec the other person doesn't have, it won't work.
