I'm having a bit of problem trying to export flv/f4v videos from my indesign docuement into an interactive swf. These videos are old MOV videos that were converted flv/f4v via Adobe Media Encoder. Everything looks good when I preview it in Indesign but when I try exporting it to a swf, I get this message
"Faild to export the file. A media file could not be overwritten in the Resources folder. The media file may be opened or in use by a web browser or other applications."
I checked the file and nothing was opened. Also, Indesign automatically deletes the video and I have to reconvert it and relink everything.
Does anyone have that problem and know of a work around to it?
Some software, web-browser, Flash Player etc. has reserved your FLV-file. It doesn´t have to be open, speacially if you use Windows. Many softwares reserve files while opening and doesn´t release them while closing... so you have to either reboot your computer or re-export your SWF with another name and target location.
