mr_alph May 3, 2012 5:06 AM (in response to Neil Enns - Adobe)I need something up on Adobe Content Viewer by 6:30pm Eastern Time today. Is there anyway I am going to be able to make this happen?

2. Re: Approval Status of Adobe Content Viewers
Bob Levine May 3, 2012 5:36 AM (in response to mr_alph)For about the thousandth time. Nobody here knows what Apple is doing or how long it will take to approve the viewer.
Do not update the tools to v20 if need to use the Adobe Content Viewer.

3. Re: Approval Status of Adobe Content Viewers
mr_alph May 3, 2012 5:51 AM (in response to Bob Levine)Sorry as you can clearly tell I am new to this. I already updated because the tools because it seemed mandatory as I couldn't connect to folio producer without it. Is there any way I can go back to a previous version of the tools? Any help here would be greatly appreciated.

4. Re: Approval Status of Adobe Content Viewers
Bob Levine May 3, 2012 5:57 AM (in response to mr_alph)The only thing mandatory is the Folio Builder, not the tools. There are links on this page to the tools archives: http://help.adobe.com/en_US/digitalpubsuite/using/WS67cb9e293e2f1f60-21ba9a4512e5e5e0b8d-7 ffe.html
Scroll toward the bottom of the page.

16. Re: Approval Status of Adobe Content Viewers
Neil Enns - Adobe May 8, 2012 10:54 AM (in response to Neil Enns - Adobe)We received a notice from Apple today that they need additional time to complete the review of the v20 Adobe Content Viewer. This isn't unusual, it has happened on many prior approval rounds for the viewer.
I have updated the table in the original message appropriately.

eimanraya May 10, 2012 11:04 AM (in response to Neil Enns - Adobe)So how are we supposed to deploy and support our 10,000 users who have content viewer on their PB?
Would we need to downgrade our folio producer when creating content every time?
-
22. Re: Approval Status of Adobe Content Viewers
Neil Enns - Adobe May 10, 2012 11:12 AM (in response to eimanraya)If you still want to develop content for the Playbook then yes, you'll have to use the last version of tools that created content for those devices. I believe that was v18.

eimanraya May 10, 2012 11:15 AM (in response to Neil Enns - Adobe)Could you provide instructions on how to uninstall V19 and install v18 pls?
-
24. Re: Approval Status of Adobe Content Viewers
Neil Enns - Adobe May 10, 2012 1:12 PM (in response to eimanraya)Uninstall the folio producer tools (not the folio builder panel) from your machine, and then install the appropriate version from our website. You'll need v17, not v18 (I had the version wrong in my earlier post).
v17 is the release dated 11/15/2011. Mac download loaction: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/collection.jsp?collID=4&platform=Macintosh. Windows download location: http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/collection.jsp?collID=4&platform=Windows.
