I am trying to encode a 55 minute timeline to either H.264 SD or MPEG2 (for Encore) from AVCHD source files in a 1080p30 timeline. My specs are: CS5.5, i& processor, 24 GB of RAM, GTX580 video card (CUDA enabled) and rendering to an internal 2TB RAID. Now, When I try to render effects in work area, I get a program crash with a warning that states that the video card cannot handle video of the size I'm sending it. I've reduced the work area to smaller chunks with some success. When I try to render it out I still get either the warning or a BSOD. Help???
BSOD is a hardware issue.
Hardware issue resolved. The issue in question was the latest nVidia driver. I restored to the previous version and tried the same task. No BSOD. But... I still get the warning about the video card not being able to handle the throughput. Thoughts?
