All products are up-to-date but the photoshop did not pass the test. Does Adobe still support the CS5 products?

CS6 Crashing

For starters I have the CS6 Master Collection, using Windows 7 and my video card is an NVidia 670mx.

I am having some issues in terms of using any program in CS6 that I have installed. Initially I was trying to open Premiere but when the splash screen came up it crashed almost immediately. I tried Photoshop next but after the splash screen I got the message, "Unable to continue because of a hardware of system error. Sorry, but this problem is unrecoverable."

Basically any other program I tried to open in the CS6 suit just crashes when I try to open it some even after the splash page.

I tried uninstalling the entire suite and reinstalling it but that did not work. I also tried redownloading Quicktime but that also did not seem to work. Currently downloading the latest video card drivers and for some reason that seemed to be unsuccessful as well.

I am trying to work on a project right now but if I can't even open the program that makes it a little more difficult. Any help would be great.

CS6 File Info Pop-Up Blank/Freezes Program

It doesn't matter which program but in CS6 when I try to open file, file info, the pop-up is blank. The only way to continue using the program is to press esc. I've searched the web and several discussions and the problem isn't isolated to Windows or Mac, but apparently CS6.

I also have CS3 installed and the file info panel works fine.

installed, I got the same error again. The error goes like "The procedure entry point. ?AcquireVarient@imageInterface@drawbot@dvaui...etc...F:\Photography\Adobe\Adobe Illustrator CS6(64 Bit)\Support Files\Contents\Windows\Illustrator.exe".

I am using Windows 8.1 in a Dell XPS8700. It was running before but the disk crashed and upon re-installation, it has not worked at all. Photoshop, however, does work, but not Illustrator

Registering CS6 serialization with AAMEE

Hi!

I just downloaded and am trying to setup serialization for nearly 1000 machines running CS6 Master Collection on our base image (win 7, sysprepped.) I've downloaded AAMEE 3.0 and when I run it to create the serialization executable as shown in the deployment guide, I receive the following errors:

guten Tag,

ich habe ein CS 6 Programm auf einem Windows-PC und einem Windows-Laptop (Studentenversion). Jetzt ist der Windows-PC defekt und es lohnt sich nicht, das Gerät reparieren zu lassen. Jetzt möchte ich einen iMac kaufen. Kann ich jetzt eine halbe Lizenz meines Programms auf Mac umsetzen, weil ich den Windows-Laptop noch behalten möchte?

Oder muss ich auf dem Mac noch eine Windows-Partition einrichten um mein Programm weiter zu nutzen?

Wenn nur mit Windows-Partition möglich, wie kann ich das Programm installieren, da auf dem defekten PC keine Deinstallation mehr möglich ist?

Ferner möchte ich evtl. das Programm Adobe-Muse-CC als Studentenversion mieten. Ist es auch hier möglich, dass das Programm, wie bei den anderen Studentenversionen, auf dem iMac und auf einem MacBook zusätzlich installiert werden kann, natürlich nicht gleichzeitig nutzbar.

Wenn ich im Forum nicht richtig bin, kann mir jemand eine Mail-Adresse von Adobe nennen, wo ich das erfragen kann?

Hi,

Re-isnstallation of CS4 on a win7 64bit plattform was no problem. But - I can not open any kind of files, neither *.psd nor *.jpg. Even creating a new file in Photoshop is not possible. I do not get a message from Adobe/Photoshop.

Now I am looking for any idea to solve this problem.

I have CS6 and Windows 7. If I want to test for updates the application manager can't get contact to the server. It refers to maybe a firewall. But as far as I know (I'm no expert) I haven't installed a firewall. What might be the reason? It worked fine for some years and as fas as I remember I didn't change any setting. I'm using Avira as virus protector. Any advice understandable for non native English speakers and not very experienced PC user?

Cannot Re-Install CS4

I updated my hw and cannot get CS4 to re-install.

New machine running Win7 (64bit). I have removed adobe reader and the flash player. I then ran "the cleaner".

It appears to want to load then "Critical errors were found in setup..." OK it exits.

I have been try to do this simple install, for nearly 3 hours.

Suggestions (besides spend another couple grand?)

I get the error when I reinstalled CS5.5. It shows "the installer failed to initialize".
Then I downloaded Adobe Support Advisor but that didn't say anything was wrong.

Also, I used Adobe Creative Suite Cleaner Tool to clear all the services installed.

What should I do?

I had to reinstall my windows so I deactivated Creative Suite Premium CS3. Now When I try to reinstall it it says the install database is corrupt.

I know there is a file I can delete that would fix this , but I have forgotten which one. Does anyone know which file?

So I needed to update a computer to Win 8.1 from Vista to load the new creative suite. I was in a hurry and while I knew I had all my data saved, programs got wiped in the update. I would love to reload, my LICENSED copy of CS3 Creative Suite Design Premium on to another computer and get the updates. The install went fine and it is activated. I don't have a link to program updates, 10.1 etc... Adobe tech support looks at supplying a link as support and sent me here. Anyone out there have links to the PS, InDesign, Acrobat and Illustrator updates?

I'm well aware of the UI scaling issues with some Adobe products running Windows 7 or 8 on HiDPI screens.

My guess (and it is just a guess) is that the issues are so deep seated with the current versions of Windows that this issue can't /wont be fully fixed in any version of Windows 8.

The question is: have these issues been fixed in the development of Windows 10?

-Can't install from cs6 cd-I have a serial number -I've tried the forums I've even tried phone support which no longer exists for cs6,got the correct specs of pc win7 64bit 8gb ram etc.I worked before.
-I uninstalled cs6 production premium for student/teachers as after effects wasn't burning,writing,making image or dvd folders.

-This forum said uninstall everything and run cleaner. I did now when I part in cs6 first gives "restart needed before install" done it twice then ignored, then the install go to selection of software,click next and error 15 comes up tried all again then said installation can't complete contact forum and back to the beginning.
-Then tried downloading creative crowd while I was signed in on my adobe account, download completed but didnt want to install
-Then went to adobe application manager downloaded, aswell didn't want to install.
WHAT IS HAPPENING? to simplestaright for support.

Using a Vector Art File as a matte for an image collage

II have a vector art file of a paw print. I would like to use it with a variety of photos to create a collage. I have the image files selected and the vector art file sized, but what I can't figure out is how to have the images seen ONLY inside each toe/pad of the paw print. Once the file is completed, I would like to be able to flow text around the paw prints so I don't want the entire art board area to be white as this would effect my text wrap properties. Any and all suggestions are welcome!

Hi!

Because my free space on one of my drives was noticeably shrinking without knowing I did install anything new on that drive I did analyze the drive folders and found this folder which is quite big:

F:\Adobe\Adobe\AdobePatchFiles\

Over 400MB.

I would like to know if I can recover the free space by deleting this folder, because I really don't want to lose free space on a hard drive without that I self install a new software or copy new files there. Following the hardware requirements the CS suite declared certain free disk space for hardware requirement of a new installation. But from this it looks that the free disk space requirement is unlimited as the AdobePatchFiles folder seems to constantly grow!! How does the CS software handle situation when the free space drops to zero due to AdobePatchFiles overbloating?

nachdem mich der Support hierhin verwiesen hat, schreibe ich mal hier mein Problem in der Hoffnung, dass mir jemand helfen kann.

Ich habe die Creative Suite CS2 auf Windows 7. Nachdem meine Festplatte den Geist aufgegeben hat, wollte ich es neu installieren, aber es ging nicht. Hab mich dann schlau gemacht und CS2 von der Adobe Download-Seite geladen.

Erst das originale deinstalliert und dann das neue installiert. Mit dem Key, der auf der Adobe-Seite angegeben wurde.

Wenn ich jetzt Photoshop aufrufen möchte, kommt immer folgende Meldung:

"Ihre Benutzername, Ihre Firma oder Seriennummer für APS fehlt oder ist ungültig.

Die Anwendung kann nicht weiter ausgeführt werden und wird jetzt beendet."

Es ist alles richtig und auch in meinem Account bei Adobe steht drin, dass ich eine CS2 ordnungsgemäß habe und jetzt neu installiert mit der neuen Nummer.

Hat jemand eine Idee, was ich machen kann, damit ich wieder damit arbeiten kann?

Hallo,

nachdem ich gestern das Programm normal geschlossen und den Rechner runtergefahren hatte, erscheint heute beim Starten nur noch das Logo und dann nichts mehr.

Auch nach Anleitung den Rechner abgesichert hochgefahren und die Dienste abgemeldet -> gleiche Symptom.

Das ganze Programm neu installiert ... wieder keine Reaktion nach Erscheinen des Logos ... und später die Meldung: Premiere reagiert nicht.

Windows 7.

I've read everything I could find on the forum regarding EULA 2.1.5, but I have not seen any discussion of dual-boot Win7/Win8. All the references to different "platforms" cite Windows versus Mac as examples of different platforms (but I'm not sure that's their definition of different platforms). I've always understood the various flavors of Windows to be different operating systems on the same platform, and that's consistent with the EULA's reference to "operating system platform". I'm currently running Win7/64 and plan to install Win 8.1 on another partition. Would Adobe consider this 1) a different platform (which would require another license purchase) or 2) installation on another computer (which would require using my 2nd installation)? Or is it possible to install CS6 in such a way that it's recognized by - and available to - both partitions under a single license?

Hello.

Today one of my HDD crashed and the bad thing is that Lightroom TEMP file and Photoshop scratch disk were on that drive. Now Lightroom nor Photoshop would start. Is there a way to reset that preferences? (I have already erased preferences - agprefs and nothing worked)

I know that Adobe has stated that upgrade licenses from CS3/4 to CS6 will only be available till the end of 2012, but I wonder if this just means that you can't buy them from this point on, or if an upgrade you bought earlier will be void after this date, even if it has never been opened/used.

Would an upgrade license which was bought before that date still work?

Hi,

I am trying to set up a silent installation of Creative Suite 1.1.1 so that I can distribute it through Dell's Kace Management system.

However, the earliest instructions I can find are for CS 2 (Which doesn't work - already tried) and the links for performing an OEM installation from the documentation have been removed from the Adobe website - I can only assume it's because this is an old unsupported product now.

I know the best thing would be to upgrade, but unfortunately my client is an educational establishment and very strapped for cash!

Any help would be really appreciated...

Upon opening an Illustrator CS6 file, I received the error message: This document uses fonts or characters which are not available or are in a different format than originally specified. This is an older file that I have never had troubles with in the past. I recently had to re-install adobe CS Suite 6 due to computer problems. I installed the Design Standard of Creative Suite 6 (Student and teacher edition) and after a time I wanted to work with Bridge and Acrobat Pro, but both don't run. The moment I click on their icon they seem like they want to start, but they just light up a short time in the task bar. I checked to start with administration rights, 32 bit and 64 bit and I started them from different sources (task bar, programs list and explorer). I'm happy about every help I can get and sorry for my maybe bad technical english!

I have purchased PageMaker 6.5, 7.0, Creative Suite 2 Premium and Creative Suite 5.5 Design Premium. Recently, my hard drive crashed and I replaced my computer. I'm in the market for a new / second hand laptop and during my search I discovered a laptop for sale...

and they say that it has "Adobe CS6 Master Collection FULL Genuine and Activated"

So when I go to view the laptop is there any way to confirm that it is indeed the genuine, legitimate version?

I'm going to upgrade my laptop hard drive to a larger capacity.

I plan to use Macrium to do the clone transfer of all programs, files and the OS (Win 7 Pro) to the new drive.

Is it necessary to deactivate CS6 prior to the transfer and then reactivate it after the transfer?

Or will it transfer without going through the deactivate/reactivate process?

I have been using CS6 on my computer for a couple years now and all of a sudden my serial is invalid? What happened?
