      <title>How can I download Creative Cloud Packager without a cc account?</title>

Uninstalled AAM, and downloaded AAM 8.0 All, and Creative Cloud Trial.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Same message.&amp;nbsp; Uninstalled AAM, Captivate, ACC. Re-downloded all and reinstalled all Akamai, AAM, ACC, Captivate.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Same message.&amp;nbsp; After I click OK, Captivate starts then closes.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;When I run AAM, it states I need to download and install ACC.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Do that, and still get same errors.&amp;nbsp; Cannot open Captivate to apply any patches.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;Looking for ideas (What windows services are required to run these?)&lt;/p&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;!-- [DocumentBodyEnd:b0aee793-4043-43c9-8050-7322bff83967] --&gt;</description>

I've downloaded Captivate 8 and allowed the packages to create the installation directory. I am using a SSD boot drive, and I am installing applications on a secondary drive. I'm following the instructions in the ReadMe document. When I run the Set-up application as Administrator, the installer never completed initializing, but "disappears". If I try to run the installer again, I get a message that the Adobe Installer is already running. I see the Adobe Application Manager running in the background, but I'm stuck.&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p style="min-height: 8pt; padding: 0px;"&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/p&gt;&lt;p&gt;I've double-checked the hardware requirements, and everything is good. It does not appear in the list of available software. I don't have access to the old laptops to deactivate Captivate from them. I have read and been told it is possible to install Adobe Captivate 6 without have a previous version installed. Since my last full version was 3, I thought it would be less of a pain to install with just the serial number of a previous version. Everything seemed to work fine until I started publishing. Then my SCORM 1.2 files all started being published without the first letter in the file names. I have not experienced this problem before I had to reinstall Captivate, and my work associate can publish my module on her computer without any problem.
