Adobe Exchnage not working behind organisation proxy

I am asked to enter my Adobe credential every time I try to download any extension but nothing happens when I enter my user id and password and click on the login button. The process just goes away with "Loggin in..." message and just hangs displaying "Logging in..." message. My computer is based behind the proxy (something I can't change) so how do I download ANY extension when I can't even login. I can easily login to my account page on Adobe website but can do it from Photoshop when I try using Adobe Exchange form.

Any suggestions?

John

I just downloaded and installed Adobe Extension Manager CC (all of my apps are CC). It does not show up in Photoshop>Window>Extensions or Illustrator>Window>Extensions. In Indesign>Window, I don't even have an Extensions option. Could something have gone wrong with the install?

I am running Win7, Adobe CC, Extension Manager CC Version 7.0.1.17

Exchange Panel says I need to update in order to install but everything is up to date

When I try to install Photoshop extensions, the Exchange Panel says I need to update to the latest version. When I click "OK" it takes me to Adobe Application Manager and Exchange Panel says it is up to date. Just for thoroughness sake, I updated ALL applications and restarted the programs and still, my Exchange Panel will not install any extensions, saying it needs to be up to date.

I'm just trying to use my Russell Brown Adobe Paper Textures (installing 2.0.1) from CC to get a project done.

I am on Mac OS10.6.8 - I have CS 4 Design Premium and CS 6 on my machine from previous installations as well but do not use either of them since I installed CC.

Brialliant functionality. Now I have released a point update, and although it shows the correct version in the extension details on the Adobe Exchange website, the version number will not update in the panel itself, although my description modifications update just fine. The extension as shown in the "Not Published" list of the sight has the old version number. When I click on it to get to the main extension page, it shows the correct version number in title and in also correct in the details on the right. It does say "(Preview)" after the name. I don't intend to ever sell it, but want to keep sharing it privately. How do I get it to recognize version updates?

Thanks

Adobe Exchange Panel Update not working?

Hello:

My OS is Windows 7 64 bit and I have Ps and Ia installed on my laptop.

I downloaded and installed the Adobe Exchange roughly two months ago and everything worked great at first.

I installed a few things such as the Paper Textures and a game Level Up (can't recall the others at the moment).

The game worked three times but then it just stopped responding. I never had an issue with the other extensions.

Yesterday I went to try out the game again but when i opened the Exchange panel it said there was a new update and so i (sadly) opted to click 'Update'

After clicking the update button I received a message:

Also, Norton said the link or what have ya was NOT trusted and is Unknown. So, I clicked on the Norton message and got this info:

Heuristic virus? um, what?

http://www.pctools.com/security-news/heuristic-virus-definition/

I went ahead and Removed all the extensions I had downloaded/installed from the Exchange panel but I would very much like to be able to use them again.

Any ideas as to the issue? Is there a solution?

I have shut off Norton to see if that would work but I still get the above message "... valid signature ... "

Sure would appreciate some input.

Thank you in advance

ps. could the Heuristic virus detection be a False Positive?
