The forms themselves don't have all the boxes checked when viewed in FormsCentral. It is only after I download it as a pdf that the problem occurs. I have to check and uncheck each box in the FormsCentral in order to not have that occur. Any suggestions?

I am getting so sick of this service, I am surprised that Adobe let something like FormsCentral be released without some BASIC features.

First, after taking the time to create a great PDF Form, I learned that you are unable to put javascript code after the Submit button's javascript to redirect the user to a different URL. After trying all sorts of options, I finally gave up and started to convert my PDF Form to a Web Form - cuz my PDF Form was that cool looking.

After playing with conversion tools for several hours, I discovered that my PDF Form was not going to convert to a nice looking Web Form. Next I went to FormsCentral and started creating a Web Form.

At first, I was thrilled with all the great options I can use to create my Web Form until I was ready to test and deploy. I then discovered that the Submit button on a Web Form is placed by Adobe's FormCentral, the user/designer has no say over where the Submit button should be located (you CAN do THIS on a PDF Form). Doesn't that defeat the purpose of FormsCentral? Users being able to CREATE their OWN Web Form?

You should be able to at least choose the submit button and then use the text align icons to choose if you want the submit button on the left side, center or right side or your Web Form.

Please make this feature available ASAP, without it your Web Forms are never going to be able to match the design/UI of a users website, which will prevent designers/developers to implement or even recommend FormsCentral.

Page Break after heading

Hello

A page break (not my own, I didn't put it there) is appearing right after the heading on one of my forms. I'm not sure why this is happening, I didn't personally put it there, but the result is that the heading appears, then an entire blank page, then the intro text. The funny thing is that I have two forms - one in English, one in French - and this is only happening on ONE of my forms, not the other, even though I copied the design file from one form to another.

How to fix Elements 13 title tool?

I recently installed Premiere Elements 13 on my notebook running Windows 7 Home Premium. Now when I create a new title I get a white vertical line right side of screen on the last frame of the title. If I edit that frame the line moves back one frame, so I can't get rid of it. Also the default text in version 13 is different from previous. How do I fix/reset the titler?

Hi,

I have correctly set up the radio button values in InDesign, export the file to pdf for reset buttons and other stuff, and then trying to import the file to InDesign. The error message I am getting is it can't be imported because of duplicate values in a field. I rechecked, and changed the field name as other people suggested. Still getting the same error message.

Does anybody have a clue? I think it's a bug with FormsCentral.

What could cause email notifications from FormsCentral not to be sent when using email receipts?

I have a few different forms on my account that are not sending email notifications.

- The forms that are affected have email receipts enabled, those are being sent and received.

- The email receipt to: and the email notification from: are linked to an e-mail field in the forms.

- I have tested with several different email accounts to ensure it's not a problem caused by having the same account for the receipt as the notification.

- When disabling email receipts and disassociating the from: block on the email notifications to a non e-mail field, notifications are sent. Since this field is automatically linked to the email receipt To: field, we cannot do this if we want to send email receipts to the form filler.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

Submission failed because of unsupported characters

I had a problem with a form that couldn't be submitted to Formscentral because of "unsupported characters". II found out that the unsupported characters were three ü (u Umlaut, often used in the german language) the user "wrote" in a text field. Probably he copy/pasted the text from Word.

Is there a possibility to paste copied text to Acrobat Reader in a "text only"-format?
Is there a way to prevent the user to fill in unsupported characters?
Is there a way to find out (e.g. JavaScript), which charactes are not supported and transform them to supported characters?

Let's first start by explaining the right way to embed a form within your website.

Go to the Distribute tab and click the Embed Form tab. This screen will appear:

Embed Options

Include page background colors - If this is unchecked then the form will have no background color and your web page color will show behind the embedded form.
Include form header - Check if you want to show the form header text and/or image of the embedded form.
Replace the browser window when redirecting to a new URL - When a Redirect URL is set (Options tab),click this option to replace the entire web browser window with the redirect. Uncheck to replace only the contents of the embedded form.
Custom redirect frame size: When a Redirect URL is set (Options tab), this defines the size of the embedded area for the page you are redirecting to. If no Redirect URL is defined then this option is ignored.

After you have set your options then click the Copy Embed Code button.

Note: If you change the Embed Options on the right you do NOT need to update the embed code already on your website. These options are controlled on the server side so the code needs no updating. (If you copied the embed code prior to 12/10/2012 then you will need to recopy the embed code in all cases. Prior to this date the embed code had all options specified within the embed code. This changed to the above behavior on 12/10/2012)

Once you have copied the embed code then go to your HTML authoring tool and paste the embed code into the HTML page within the <body> section:

Then upload your HTML file to your web server and view your web page. You'll now see your FormsCentral form embedded within your web page.

Some things to know:

For paid customers the "Powered By" footer at the bottom of our web forms shouldn't appear when embedded in a web page correctly.
Do not copy the source HTML from the actual FormsCentral form and paste into your HTML page. Always use the embed code provided within the above dialog.
Never put the form URL in an iFrame. Always use the embed code provided within the above dialog.
Never change the embed code parameters by editing the pasted embed code directly. If you want to change the embed code options for you should go back to the Embed dialog, change the options, copy the embed code, then re-paste into your HTML file.

Note: Web Form and Embed Form options are only available for forms created within FormsCentral. Imported PDF forms can only be distirbuted as PDF files.

Troubleshooting

There is a "Local Host" banner in the upper left corner of the form - The form is currently embedded on a web page that is being viewed on a local server or host. In this case, the form may not behave as expected (e.g. the bottom of the form may be cropped). You need to upload it to a web server to view it properly.

This error message is being shown instead of the form: "The form has been incorrectly embedded by using the form URL as the source for an iframe. Please copy the correct embed code from the embed dialog." - You should not use the form URL in an iFrame, instead paste the embed code.

This error message is being shown instead of the form: "This form has been improperly embedded." - You copy/pasted the HTML source of the FormsCentral form into your HTML page. Go to the embed dialog and copy the embed code from there and paste into your HTML web page.

After my form submits it redirects to a web page that is cropped - You need to increase the size of the Redirect Options in the Embed dialog.

Redirect doesn't take over entire window - Make sure you have the "Redirect - Replace entire window" option checked in the Embed dialog.

For anything else, we suggest you go back to the Embed Form tab, set your options and recopy the embed code to your web page. Its possible you may have inadvertently edited the embed code or options were missed.

This Is Not A Valid Project error message for Photoshop Touch app iPad 3rd gen

I can not access my projects new or old after modifying. After saving the project a grey X appears and when I select to save as a JPEG or reopen the project , an errror message pops up saying This Is Not A Valid Project. I have had the Photoshop Touch app on my 3rd gen iPad for 4yrs and have never had any problems until yesterday. The project also can not be accessed form the cloud. I have deleted and reinstalled the app, but the same error exists.

I just opened my adobe forms central and clicked on one of my forms. It was no longer in English...but some other language. HELP!! How do I make it English again!? The other language comes up in the design tab. When I click on the distribute and open the link to the form it is in English.

I have created a form to report daily project work. I have added an attachment for photographs. I can see in the spreadsheet that there are images, but I would like the images to appear on the actual submission. Is there a way to do that? I have it marked so that I can see every submission upon arrival. But it just says image.jpg. I want to see a snapshot. Help!

In my form, the deadline to submit an abstract has passed, so I would like to skip the pages which ask for contributed talk information. Yet, in every iteration, the form fails to skip those pages. I've tried everything, and nothing works.

The only way I could hack a solution is to go to all of the different fields on those two pages, go "Show/Hide" on each field, and then hide if "any" condition was met, where the condition was a Yes/No question from before (and I hide if they said either of Yes or No).

If I were to guess, it looks like since the form has already accepted information from those fields, it refuses to skip over those fields for future submissions. But this is a problem, of course, because I don't want to write a brand new form that includes everything BUT those two pages. (And then later have to integrate the two separate databases.) The whole point of "skip logic" is for a user to "show and hide certain parts of a form", right?

This smacks of a bug, as far as I can tell.

unwanted page breaks

On my last form -only half the responses had all the "required" fields. I now have registrations without emails. I have them registering and part of the information was captured. What happened?

"Other choice" doesn't export to a PDF correctly

When using the Desktop version of FormsCentral, enabling the "Include Other Choice" causes the text box to show up over the field title. It shows up correctly in the FormsCentral program, it just gets messy when I try export the PDF.

For example, underneath the Last Name text box should say "Please Provide your feedback on the quality of our service" with a text box next to the "Other" choice at the bottom. Instead the text box is just showing up at the top.

I cancelled my Adobe Forms Central end of July and my CC is STILL being charged. Now What? (my account shows no subscriptions)

Submission Failed: Unsupported characters

Question regarding two separate errors while submitting forms to FormsCentral. The first error the person submitting received this comment: "The field contains unsupported characters. Please modify your entry." (from four places in the form). How do I go about finding where this error is stemming from? The second error was that the submit button didn't work for him and when he emailed the saved pdf over all the fields were greyed over until you click on the field and the text would show up.

Many of our form submissions do not generate an email notification.

Any ideas why about 30% of our form submissions do not generate an email notification? We use FormsCentral for a rental reservation form and we have lost several rentals recently because we never knew about the reservations. We hate to abandon all of the work we put into making this form work so any help is appreciated. Otherwise, we will leave Adobe very soon.

"Manually Added" Text Box

Hi All,

I've just noticed that forms, whether ones I've created or ones created by other folks (and other FormsCentral accounts) at my university don't fully display when viewed using IE 11 on Windows 8.1. Only the upper left corner is displayed - roughly half the left-right width, and only about 20% (or less) of the top-bottom dimension.

Anyone else seeing similar issues? I see there was some IE/Windows 8.1 discussion starting several months ago, but did not see a final resolution.

I have a client who gains access to an online-hosted form that I created for them via FormsCentral. They have iPads in their airplanes and complete my "safety checklist" before they fly. They upgraded every pilot's iPad to iOS 8 yesterday, except for one. The iOS 7 iPad is the only one that will allow them access to complete and submit their form. Now they're looking to me for the answer, and I'm hoping Adobe jumps on this quick!! Any thoughts on how to correct this?

Adobe Formscentral with a restricted user

On our network when logged in as an administrator, when using #Adobe Formscentral it works as expected. Specifically I can add items in anywhere I want to on the page even with one to the right of another.

If I log in with a restricted user (not an administrator) the program works fine but any items added fill the width of the page and cannot be resized. I cannot add an item to the right of another.

I need to be able to add an item to the right of another.

Any idea why this is and a way around it using a restricted user?

I've checked the appropriate permissions but they all appear to be as I would expect.

Trouble tracking and receiving forms

I am using Adobe FormsCentral for an application process. Some applicants have reported that they believed that their application has gone through when in fact it has not. Could this be user error or could this be a software error? PLEASE HELP! Is there any way to retrieve incomplete forms for the applicants or for us to see the incomplete applications?

I signed up for a formscentral basic account (the 99c one) and found it wasn't useful to me so I believe I need to close a subscription now. I can't find any way to do that.

Logging in and clicking My Subscriptions from the top right menu of formscentral. adobe .com takes me to a store selector page which then automatically redirects me to http:// www.adobe.com /au/products/catalog.html. Not particularly helpful. Any other way to cancel?

Please help. Currently, I cannot choose other than US, Canada or Mexico credit card to purchase FormsCentral. living in China. I know I cannot buy it here, but I have Australian credit card. However, when purchasing, it constantly tells me that the account was made for another country. I changed the country to all possible countries in my account, i still get that message. Adobe FormsCentral Sign In Continuous Loop Issue

Hi,

One of my co-worker is trying to sign in FormsCentral but once she enters her e-mail and password it goes into a continuous loop. By continuous loop, I mean that the page is blank and the browser is loading and looping in between 3 Adobe related URL but never loads anything.

It works from my computer. We both have the same Internet Explorer version (11.0.11). I tried it on the Internet Explorer without Add-on and it does the same thing.

Any ideas how to fix this?

I'm trying to uplaod a form and I am getting this message:

FormsCentral could not import the PDF because field ReadyForMe1 contains duplicate display values.

The field is a radio button group with values of 1 and 0. I uplaoded another version of the same form a few months ago and do not understand why it worked before and not now.

I have posted a web form weeks ago that has been tested thoroughly on a number of platforms, including Apple laptops, desktops, iPads and iPhones. This evening, several users report that the form is locking up after they upgraded to Apple IOS 8 (and the associated version of Safari) on an iPad. Is this a known issue of some sort? Thank you.

I am creating forms in adobe pro and generating them inside form central.

I am distributing them via email to which i am wanting responses to the forms sent back by clicking the submit button.

Creating an adobe account and signing in on IPAD allows the form to be sent back without any issues. Although on android it is proving more challenging, i am signed into adobe account on android device and try to click the submit button and nothing happens. Is there something i am doing wrong, how do i get it to send from submit button?

I want to get it working before i go ahead and buy the products at the moment i am on the trial versions.

When I view my responses, the answers are shifted to the next column. The cells under the question 1 are blank and the answers from the question 1 are under the question 2. Any idea?
