Does adobe support passing data from the form back into a redirected web page?

We would like to redirect the respondent to a page that displays their form entries so they can review and print the page for later use. Is this possible?

Can anyone tell me if I can limit the number of form entries to say 100? And even better have a counter for this?

I have set up a form to sell a special offer gift card. I want to sell a few but I want to test the waters first. If this thing goes viral I don't want to be held responsible to fulfil all the certificates. Therefore I would like to limit the number of certificates I sell. Does anyone know how to solve this?

Someone in the forum had asked if a certain question is asked in forms and the answer is "yes" could it prompt a new set of questions. Mine is similar, in that I am looking for the answer to affect the content throughout the form.

When someone types in their name and company name at the top of the form, can the form recall that information to pull that into fields later? So if someone says they work for "ABC Corp," could one of my questions change from "How long have you worked for your company?" to "How long have you worked for ABC Corp?" Is there any way to implement this?

I create a form using adobeformscentral , it is amazing and I went to pay for Plus membership. but before I pay I noticed that I can't fill Arabic character and give me this error:

Only Latin-1 characters are supported. Please modify your entry.

Most of my audience are from Arab countries. is thiere any solution for this problem?

Removing Empty Fields from Summary

Hello,

I am primarily using FormsCentral to accept Background Applications from potential clients as well as accept expense reimbursements from current clients.

In both of these forms, there are many questions which are hidden or shown based on how the applicant answered previous questions. IE, only when a client answered in the affirmative to "Do you have any travel expenses for reimbursement?" would a travel question appear to ask about the details of such a reimbursement .

Unfortunately, when the forms are submitted, we recieve a confirmation via email containing ALL questions in the orignal form, even when they were hidden for the client, or unanswered. I noticed that you can elect to have empty responsed removed for the confirmation email sent to the client after they submit a filled form, but no such option is available on the design / received side

Worse, we elected to use Adobe Formscentral because we really liked how polished they looked, and also liked the fact that we could download a PDF version of the answered questionairre that was presentable to our clients (like when presenting a close of account folder which would contain all of their submitted expenses). unfortunately the downloaded PDF version of our responses also include all of the blank and hidden fields regardless of whether they were filled out or even shown to the client. Becuase PDF's are difficult to manage after creation, there is no simple way to remove empty questions or hidden response fields from either the summary emails we receive or the PDF we can download.

We have extensive applications that we intended on being able to download to present to potential clients to skip the step of having to have somone enter them again into a polished looking form where unanswered or hidden questions do not get included. Our forms are such that we could have 3 pages of answered and applicable questions on a PDF form that totals 18 pages. Theirfor we would have to cycle through 18 pages to get the three pages of total information we need, at the same time making it completely unpresentable to a client.

There is an option to remove unanwered fields to the confirmation email sent to our clients when they submit a form, but we, the form creater don't appear to have the same option?

This seems like a relatively easy fix that is preventing a great many people from using the FormsCentral Product this way. Please let me know if there is anything I am overlooking, workaround wise, or if there is any idea as to when these features will become available. I really like FormsCentral otherwise, and would hate to have to jump ship because of what seems like a minor feature upgrade.

It would be helpful if there was a field formatted to enter a telephone (i.e. (000) 000-0000). Am I missing this option somewhere?

Then I am also merging properties (House) information that i get online in a PDF to the report . client needs to sign report if at house there with me or I could email it ... Processing survey data automatically

I am running a few surveys with FORMs. What I need to do is to be able to run code on the respondent's information as soon as they submit the form. I'm not sure the form data is accessible in this way.

I can see that it can be exported to excel, but I'd like to have this process automated. If the data cannot be accessed raw and on the fly, it will need to be exported automatically to another database that allows this.

Any information you can provide will be helfpful.

I am using Forms Central for submissions of service tickets to a centralized hub, and I would like to give each submission it's own case #. Basically I am looking to see when a customer submits a form and they are sent the receipt, I would like to see a number that is automatically assigned to the ticket for tracking purposes.

How do I change the format of a response cell when I'm making an Acrobat Form?

I want to eliminate the background color (gray) and also the outline around the cell. How do I do that?

When I use FormCentral's creation tools, I can do it, but when I use Acrobat IX's tool set, it creates an ugly box around the response cell with a gray background and a 2 point black outline. Ugly!

I am getting so sick of this service, I am surprised that Adobe let something like FormsCentral be released without some BASIC features.

First, after taking the time to create a great PDF Form, I learned that you are unable to put javascript code after the Submit button's javascript to redirect the user to a different URL. After trying all sorts of options, I finally gave up and started to convert my PDF Form to a Web Form - cuz my PDF Form was that cool looking.

After playing with conversion tools for several hours, I discovered that my PDF Form was not going to convert to a nice looking Web Form. Next I went to FormsCentral and started creating a Web Form.

At first, I was thrilled with all the great options I can use to create my Web Form until I was ready to test and deploy. I then discovered that the Submit button on a Web Form is placed by Adobe's FormCentral, the user/designer has no say over where the Submit button should be located (you CAN do THIS on a PDF Form). Doesn't that defeat the purpose of FormsCentral? Users being able to CREATE their OWN Web Form?

You should be able to at least choose the submit button and then use the text align icons to choose if you want the submit button on the left side, center or right side or your Web Form.

Please make this feature available ASAP, without it your Web Forms are never going to be able to match the design/UI of a users website, which will prevent designers/developers to implement or even recommend FormsCentral.

Enable user to add an extra text field

I am creating teacher unit curriculum building plans, where many lessons make up a unit. Some teachers may have 5 lessons in unit, while other teachers may have 10 lessons in a unit. How can I have a form for a unit with 5 lesson templates to fill in by default, but have a button (or some function) that will allow the user to add additional lesson templates if they have more than 5? A way to duplicate a page and add it to the form, as a user with reader?

I was experimenting with using buttons to hide all the extra lesson templates if they aren't going to use them, but then there are still a bunch of "empty" pages on the form if they were to do this (say, if I were to put 12 fillable lesson templates in the Unit Plan form, but they only have 7 lessons....they's be "hiding" 5 other lesson plan templates and leaving a bunch of blank/extra space on the form).

Import error: duplicate value, when radio button values are correctly set up in InDesign

Hi,

I have correctly set up the radio button values in InDesign, export the file to pdf for reset buttons and other stuff, and then trying to import the file to InDesign. The error message I am getting is it can't be imported because of duplicate values in a field. I rechecked, and changed the field name as other people suggested. Still getting the same error message.

Does anybody have a clue? I think it's a bug with FormsCentral.

i have an online menu - many of my customers pay by check, cash and credit card as well - is there not an option to show those options... and items vary in price, i need to be able to give them a total price calculation when they submit the form.

This app is great but you really need to add some more detailed field validation options. There isn't even a phone number field validation. Users can put in the data any way they want and that is unacceptable. For $144 per year I expect to be able to validate the field content.

Submission failed because of unsupported characters

I had a problem with a form that couldn't be submitted to Formscentral because of "unsupported characters". II found out that the unsupported characters were three ü (u Umlaut, often used in the german language) the user "wrote" in a text field. Probably he copy/pasted the text from Word.

Is there a possibility to paste copied text to Acrobat Reader in a "text only"-format?
Is there a way to prevent the user to fill in unsupported characters?
Is there a way to find out (e.g. JavaScript), which charactes are not supported and transform them to supported characters?

I took a word document I had created and added fields to it in Adobe Acrobat XI Pro. I then imported the PDF in Forms Central and now I am stuck. All I am able to do with it in FormsCentral is add a submit button. It will not allow me to edit the document in FormsCentral. What I ultimately need to do is get this converted to a web form so that I can embed it into our company website. Additionally, once it's converted, I need to add an option for the user to attach their resume with the file before submitting. I have looked all over the web and I cannot find an answer as to whether or not I can convert PDFs to web forms in FormsCentral. This will ultimately determine whether or not the company decides to purchase these programs after the trial version has ended in a few days.

How to create priority questions

I have 15 questions in a form where the priority should be between 1 to 15.

So if Q1 I pick priority 1, Q2 would have to show (2 to 15). if I pick priority of 15 for Q2 then Q3 would have the options of 2 to 14 and so on ....

In other words each question would have to belong to one of the priorities exclusively.

Survey Monkey has this feature. How do we implement this in formscentral?

I have created a form to report daily project work. I have added an attachment for photographs. I can see in the spreadsheet that there are images, but I would like the images to appear on the actual submission. Is there a way to do that? I have it marked so that I can see every submission upon arrival. But it just says image.jpg. I want to see a snapshot. Help!

When a submitter receives their receipt by email it just shows their answers in plain text format. Is there any way for them to receive an image of the filled out form as their receipt, instead of just plain text.

I created an online form using Forms Central. I would like to have my users be able to print their form out for their records but it seems there is no way to do this using Forms Central. Seems like there should be a "Print Form" button that could be placed near the submit button. Am I missing something?

Couple of quick questions:

I'd like to have a field with the DATE that automatically fills for the current date, is this possible?

Can I route to different emails based on selections? So if someone choose the inquiry type as Sales it would go to a sales email, if someone selects Customer Service it would directly send to customer service?

Help with either or both would be fantastic. If these aren't features I know I'd love to make the request.

I have an Adobe ID and my ID is the administrator of a Creative Cloud Teams account. We also have a Forms Central Account. One of my Creative Cloud teams members set up some forms and needs to be able to edit them periodically. That requires that I log in to my Adobe Admin account, on his computer, for him to access Forms Central. Is there a way I can designate him editing permissions without giving him the password to my Admin account?

Hello,

i want to embed a form in a website. The websites has users and an authentification. One of the fields requires the user to enter his username.

I want to fill this field automatically for the user (and maybe make it hidden, so that he can't manipulate it) - maybe by GET parameters? I tried to find a solution for quite a while now but wasn't able to.

Is there a way to embed it via <iframe> and submit GET parameters for fields (like e.g. ?p1f3=blabla ... Or maybe via the <script> where i enter the formId and additional options?

Actually forwarding some predefined values so some of the input fields. I would do it via cross-site-scripting but somehow you don't like that
