When I go to a photo in Bridge it opens in Windows photo viewer and does not even give the option of Photoshop. This is not right with this program - never had that problem and it is very bad for my work flow.

Is anyone using the new iCloud drive? I started only recently and found it working quite well for my tasks. But unfortunately it does not show up in the Bridge, which makes it a bit impractical once you have created a few folders. Especially, when you, like me, use the bridge all the time. So I would appreciate if anyone has any information if this is kind of an issue that is already discussed or that might be changed in the future. Or is there a way to solve it? And last but not least, is it an Apple issue or an Adobe one?

When I click on ctrl F in bridge and type in a keyword, (for example

clouds), nothing comes up except a message that says ‘no items to display.’

Bridge displays Lightroom Catalog files (.lrcat) instead of photos, and opens the file in Lightroom. How do I change this?

When I click on a folder of photos in Bridge to view the photos, Bridge does not display the photos anymore, instead all I see is a .lrcat folder. If I double click on the .lrcat folder, it opens all the files in Lightroom, not Photoshop. How do I stop this and get my photos back in Bridge?

Is there a way to fix text which anyone can read without a magnyfier lense?

This relates to many CC products but we can start with Bridge and Camera Raw.

I am using a high resolution monitor with 144 dpi (UHD), 31,5 inch. All text gets tiny. There is a resent fix in Photoshop but many Adobe products are behind. Or to put it frankly, Adobe seems to totally ignore customers and what is happening in the world, as well as the need for being able to read what´s on the screen.

I had a nasty virus that forced me to have my drive formated. I had bought PSCS 5 years ago as a download. I downloaded it, after taking hours to find all the necessary paperwork that I bought it, downloaded their installer and went through hoops to reinstall the program. But now when I try to open the Bridge I get this message: "Bridge CS5.5 was not found on this system. To use this command please reinstall Bridge CS5.5."

After Googling my brains out, I can't find out how to do this. Do I have to reinstall the entire application? It's hard to do, and so many steps that I hope not. I paid $999 for this program and I just think the reinstall should be easy. But that's another story. If anyone can give me hope that I can fix the bridge without having to reinstall this program, I'd appreciate it.

At time the time of writing in November 2014 all web browsers support SVG and it's use is firmly on the up, yet Adobe Bridge still does not allow previewing of SVG file from within Bridge. From a work-flow point of view this is highly disruptive when trying to deal with many hundreds of SVG for web development, e-book publishing or whatever.

For a company that's supposedly at the forefront of digital publishing it's just not good enough, in this day of ever changing screen sizes, resolutions and interface's we need modern tools that help not hinder our progress.

Adobe, start paying attention to the little things please…

I have followed the Adobe directions for installing the Adobe Output Module. Whenever I go into Bridge, I do not have Output as an option when I select Window/Workspace. Any suggestions for getting Output to work?

Hello! Our Worker(s) are experiencing Intermittent Crashes on Adobe Bridge CC2014, while browsing pictures. We have done /tested all the suggestions what Adobe page tell: http://helpx.adobe.com/bridge/kb/troubleshoot-errors-freezes-bridge-windows.html -We tried to remedy the situtation by re-installing the Computer´s OS X Mavericks from scratch (clean install) and re-installing the Bridge cc2014 from Creative Cloud. Amount of memory was also upgraded on the machine, which now totals 12GB. Unfortunately, still the same problem exist. When bridge crashes, it will freeze the whole machine and generates "beach-balling" effect. User has to restart the machine to recover because even "force Quit" etc. does not respond.

I am trying to download the Output Update for Bridge CS4, which I have been using for some years. When I try to open the dmg file I get a 'can't install/quit' message. I have checked system requirements, space etc and cannot figure out tghe problem. Can anyone advise?

How can we increase the font size in Adobe Bridge CC 2014?

We use Windows 7 64bit computers and Dell High Density UltraSharp UP2414Q monitors with a resolution of 3840 x 2160.

Other applications in Adobe CC 2014 work fine with this high resolution (Indesign, Photoshop) but I can't find where to adjust font size in Bridge.

Right now menu items are hardly ledgible.

I have no idea even if this is possible. I like Nikon ViewNX2 because it gives me a small view panel in my screen and at the same time a full screen view on my second monitor. Is this possible with Adobe Bridge CC on MAC Yosemite?

Hi,

I've suddenly come across a problem with Adobe Bridge where it isn't allowing me to open .CR2 files into Camera Raw. When I right click on an image in Bridge, an error message pops up:

"Bridge's parent application is not active. Bridge requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature."

Originally, I opened Photoshop CS6, then File > Browse in Bridge. I've have opened ACR hundreds of times on this computer so I don't understand why it wants me to open it to be able to use it. I've opened a RAW file from Windows explorer, but when going back to Bridge, the same error occurs.

Does anyone know what the problem is here and how to fix it?

Running Windows 7, Photoshop CS6 64-bit, ACR 7.1, Bridge CS6 64-bit.

I've just updated Bridge and the image processor has been axed from the tools menu. You need to get this feature back, bridge is pointless with out it. IT would seem as though you are trying to convert me to lightroom but I sooner drop adobe and use aperture!

Hello, newbie here, hope this isn't a done-to-death question....

In Bridge (CC 6.1.0.115 on a Mac) as I upload photos from an SD card, via Photo Downloader, is there a way to separate the jpg's to one subfolder, and raw images to another subfolder ? Preferably during the upload rather than as a post process.

Can't delete temporary keywords

Using Bridge CS6. I have removed unwanted imported keywords (iStock) from my image library by deleting the keywords from the keyword list inside the metadata panel. The keywords panel then did not display the unwanted keywords. Reopened Bridge and all the unwanted keywords were back in the filter list, and then in the metadata and keywords panels. How can I permanently delete the unwanted temporary keywords?

Importing from NX-D to Bridge

I have a MAC Book Pro OS X (Yosemite). I use NX-D to move my pictures of my D 3100 Nikon to NX-D. When I am done with minor editing I wish to move to the Adobe Bridge app (I use the online services). The pictures I send from NX-D to Bridge are jpeg-normal. When the appear in Adobe Bridge they are transformed to tiff. Why is that and how to I get them to transfer over as a jpeg?? Thanks vb

Hello, This is my first question on this forum. I have problems with color setting . I have searched the forum but I cant find the answer. I use a Dell U2713H and NVIDIA Geforce GTX760. I get the right colors in Photoshop when I select Proof Color, custom and Dell U2713H. This I must do for each image. The problems is that in Photoshop element, Bridge and Lightroom the colors are not correctly reproduced. The colors are as in Photoshop before I use Proof Color. In Bridge, the colors are correct some seconds before the tumbernails is updated. Hope someone can help me. What am I doing wrong?

I want to sort images from two different cameras, but the time was set wrong on one of the cameras. I need to match the time. In order to do that I need to change the exif "date created" on all of the images from that camera by 1 hour. Is this possible?

Cannot copy or clear develop settings in Adobe Bridge

okay, here's my problem. all of the sudden i am no longer able to clear or copy develop settings when i right click on raw files in adobe bridge. the problem seemingly began out of nowhere. when i attempt to use these functions i get the following error message: "Bridge's parent application is not active. Bridge requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature." i have googled this to no end and it seems there is no solution that actually works. just to be clear, all of the results for this search ive found seem to be users getting the same error message and the inability to OPEN raw files from bridge; this is NOT my issue. i can still open raw files from bridge with no problems whatsoever but i just cant clear my develop settings. ive googled "cannot clear develop settings" and have found nothing specific to my situation. ive tried resetting bridge and camera raw to their default settings and that hasnt worked. ive moved my cache to a different drive and that hasnt worked. i opened bridge from photoshop and that also hasnt worked. id like to think there is a solution that doesnt require me to uninstall and re-install the entire application. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I am having difficulty following on instruction in learning photoshop cc.

The book says to load files as layers select(in Bridge) tools/photoshop/Load files into photoshop Layers.

There is no Photoshop Option in the Tools Menu in my Bridge CC.

Is ther another way?

Color settings synchronization issue with AdobeCC 2014

Dear Adobe Community,

I'm the IT administrator of a small company based in Switzerland.

We subscribed last year to AdobeCC and last week I updated our Lenovo PCs (Windows 7) to AdobeCC 2014 apps.

Since the update we are experiencing an issue with the color settings synchronization between the Creative Cloud apps.

In InDesign, if we open an old file the following error message shows up:

The color profiles and settings are placed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe\Color\Settings and Profiles.

We are using the profiles downloaded from www.pdfx-ready.ch.

Do you have any suggestions to fix this issue?

I'm so sorry if this has been answered elsewhere, but I can't find it on Google or in the forums...

I need to sort wedding photos from multiple photographers by date taken so I can sort through the wedding as a full event. Sorting by the date/time the file was created will not suffice because I had to convert all photos from one of my photogs from NEF to DNG (D610 files not compatible with CS5), so the 'date created' for those DNG file is days later than all the other images. Thus, sorting by "date created' batches all the photos from one of my photogs together at the end.

Is there any option in Bridge that will actually read the metadata and sort by the shoot time of the image?

I have a disastrous installation of Mavericks and am preparing to revert back to Snow Leopard. I have registered three versions of PhotoShop Elements, but am currently running PE 11. I greatly prefer Bridge for working with images and don't like Organizer at all for my particular purposes. What I need to know is how to go about reinstalling PE 11 AND, very importantly, Bridge? I've spent a great deal of time trying to find answers on Adobe's site with no luck. These are the ONLY two non-Apple programs I use and do not want to be without them. Please don't try to talk me out of the reversion; I've spent hundreds of dollars and three weeks of time trying to solve Mavericks-caused issues.

Advice will be greatly appreciated.

I subsribe to Photoshop CC. I did as instructed by a popup message and purged the cache via Preferences. Now Bridge won't work. Should I uninstall and then reinstall it, and if so, how? For the first time, I do not have a disk with the software.
