CC Desktop says: "Sync incomplete", so... now what ?

Since a couple of days I get this disturbing red warning sign in my CC icon and panel, telling me that my "Sync is incomplete". Curious to know what triggers it and what to do about it, I hit the "More info" button, but it merely brings me to some status page with an "All Systems Green" parade. Well, thanks for worrying me, spoiling my time, and not helping me. What shall I do now, light a candle ?

Why can't I talk to someone in my own language with support!!! GRRR Adobe are top products but service sucks big time! Dutch please!

Whenever I am running the creative cloud app. I am getting this error message in my console:

Creative Cloud[4627]: objc[4627]: Object 0x792c53f0 of class __NSCFData autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking - break on objc_autoreleaseNoPool() to debug

It comes up every half a second, and is slowing down my computer...

please help! I was on the phone with tech support for over an hour, and no help at all.

Adobe CC Needs eLearning options and/or a Custom Creative Cloud Option

As my company is looking into eLearning options I was disappointed to find that Adobe has discontinued the Adobe eLearning Suite.

Then to add insult to injury, I find that there is no eLearning CC utilizing the current versions of Adobe's eLearning Programs available either.

It's unbelievable that with the gigantic boom in eLearning that Adobe chose to discontinue this Suite and to not support a CC option.

Adobe needs to either:

Provide access to the recent versions of Captivate, Presenter, and other relevant eLearning software in it's regular Creative Cloud; or
Provide an up-to-date eLearning Suite (CC or Perpetual) with access to the recent versions of Captivate, Presenter, Adobe Media Encoder, Flash Professional, Dreamweaver, Photoshop and Audition and other relevant eLearning software; or
Create an Custom Creative Cloud membership, that would allow the User to choose the programs relevant to their job.

Custom Creative Cloud Pricing could be for a 10 or 15 or 20 Program bundle and give the User the freedom to customize their Custom Creative Cloud experience.

In my career I have absolutely no need of some of the current CC programs... so having to purchase CC for the handful of programs I need and then spring another $70 a month to get Presenter CC and Captivate CC is just ridiculous. I can't even begin to try to justify that cost, when over half the programs of the regular CC aren't even related to my job.

I get the whole CC concept - but real world application dictates that Adobe needs to be more flexible in how they offer these CC programs.

As it stands, I'm already looking into alternative eLearning Authoring software since Adobe chooses to ignore the needs of the eLearning sector by shutting us out of a viable eLearning Suite, CC or otherwise, that is suited to our needs.

Creative Cloud for Mac (latest version) has a "leak" error

The latest download of the Mac Creative Cloud app has a bug. After receiving the latest CC (today) my system console continues to inform me of a "leak error" at the rate of abot four per minute. For example: "10/6/14 5:18:09.479 PM com.adobe.AdobeCreativeCloud: objc[190]: Object 0x699153a0 of class __NSCFData autoreleased with no pool in place - just leaking - break on objc_autoreleaseNoPool() to debug"

Any ideas on a fix?

Yesterday morning I was prompted to update Creative Cloud to version 1.8.0.447. This is on a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.9.4. Almost immediately after the update, the fans on my machine started running full blast. Checking Activity Monitor showed that the %CPU value for Creative Cloud was 100% plus. I couldn't find any way to quit Creative Cloud, so I killed its process with Activity Monitor. Every restart since then has required the same steps. I read some advice online that suggested logging out of Creative Cloud and then back in, but the log out option in CC's preferences is inactive. From what i have read, this sounds like an old bug that was fixed a few versions ago, and now has resurfaced with this latest version.

When Can we expect Creative Cloud to be compatible with Yosemite? I am dead to creation!

I have just had reason to perform a complete reinstall of the Windows 8 system on my laptop.
This removed a range of applications included in a Complete Individual Creative Cloud
subscription.

The only way I could access the download for the Application Manager was via Google which
took me to the Get Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App & Adobe Application Manager page.
No amount of navigation through Adobe.com led me to the page. Everything aimed to sell
to me, even though I was logged in as an existing subscriber.

I know for a fact that subscription renewal is a critical concern to SaaS providers. Can
I make a firm recommendation for Adobe to address this by catering more directly to
subscribers such as myself: loyal - yes; unlimited budget - no.

I am a freelancer who has a "work machine" & "home machine" in the same environment as well as a laptop. Home machine serves as a backup in case of a crash on the work machine. There are days I have no need to power up work machine. Having to log in or close out of all machines to use a third is really irritating since I'm paying $50 a month just to have the software in the first place. Recently, my Mom was in and out of the hospital & the laptop served as a critical savior in my work. There just needs to be a bit more wiggle room there. Thanks.

How about making the wave form view on the same screen as the multi track view. This, so you can select and drag events or regions from the waveform view window directly into a track on multi-track. Sony Vegas has had this for years with their "trimmer" on the same screen as the multi track. I've never understood the split personality of the multi track view-waveform view. I've been working with digital audio since the SAW pro days. Make it an option - for those who are accustomed to the status quo. I still prefer using Vegas for building radio spots for that reason. Feature Request: Multiple guides from "New Guide" dialogue box

I use the "new guide" option on a regular basis. For each guide placed the dialogue box has to be reopened which is very time consuming, even if adding a keyboard shortcut. I see that the latest CC update has the option to create a regular grid but I often create guides at non regular intervals. It would probably be a simple change to keep the dialogue box open for another input and then click another button to close when finished.

Open letter to Adobe:

In Summary: I consistently go back to Photoshop CS6 over Photoshop 2014 due to the way 2014 handles.

I am an advanced user and use Photoshop to create art from photographs for clients. Even though I know there are advanced features in 2014, every time I start a project in 2014, I end up completing it in CS6. These are the reasons why:

1. 2014 is just not as solid a product as CS6. I know that when I start something in CS6, I will be able to complete it. I am an artist, so bear with my descriptions, but 2014 feels and acts like you are sitting on a three-legged chair versus a four-legged version with CS6.

2. 2014 is not as stable. I rarely have CS6 crash, but 2014 has frozen several times and I have lost work, even with the auto-save on.

3. 2014's tools can switch from a normal tip to other types on a whim.

4. When cropping with 2014, I've had sides of the picture change. Hard to describe, but artistically, it's there. When I take the project into CS6 and crop it, there are no changes to the sides during cropping.

5. I have had times when I can't change to a specific font in 2014 and then come back to 2014 later and it will change.

Should I report these as bugs? How? Some are very difficult to describe and almost impossible to document in a way that your programming team could trace.

For the time being, I will continue to switch back and forth between 2014 and CS6 as I need; so, if you would please, continue to update CS6.

CC app ignores preferences, but...

I found this problem just when starting to trial some CC products, but I think it would be the same case if I was already signed for them. Here are the details that I think contribute to the problem.

I am Spanish, living in UK, working with Windows 7 64 in English, my CC account was made from UK, but I changed language preferences to Spanish, and the issue can be reproduced as follows:

1. In a computer with not adobe products installed, get into your CC account and select one product to trial from CC website.

2. It first installs CC app and then you change preferences to Spanish and a different folder than default.

3. Installation process starts, it never asks anything and finally you get that program in English and in the default folder, which obviously was not intended.

4. Uninstall and clean the computer again with Adobe special tool (AdobeCreativeCloudCleanerTool.exe) for not leaving any trace of previous Adobe products installations.

5. Download from a parallel site a multilingual package of the program you are interested. During the installation you can change Language and destination folder and select trial. It will install correctly as per your preferences.

6. Run the program, it will launch the CC app, now you are offered an update, do it, and voila, it is correctly installed in Spanish and the folder of your choice.

7. Now you can select a second program to trial in CC app. It will installs too in Spanish and the folder of your choice.

So in order to get things correctly installed as per your preferences, firstly you must avoid to go into CC web site or CC app as it will do wrong. (????)

Creative Cloud apps opens by itself

How do I stop the Creative Cloud app from opening each time I switch desktops using Mac Spaces? It happens any and every time I switch to an empty desktop, as though I had clicked on the menu bar icon. I use Spaces extensively and this is driving me nuts.

Illustrator and Photoshop for Windows 8: save and save for web dialog file name fields will select the entire name when I start typing after placing the cursor at any point within the name. I'm only able to type one character before everything gets selected and then replaced with the second (and following) character(s) completely. This is an EXTREMELY IRRITATING way for this to behave.

If I have filename-this.png and I want to change it to filename-that.png, I want to be able to select "that" or put the cursor after the "t" and be able to type or delete as every other entry field in existence behaves.

What I end up needing to do is:
1. Place the cursor
2. Type one character
3. Wait for the entire name to get auto-selected
4. Place the cursor again
5. Start retyping the part of the name I wanted to change in the first place, finally being able to.

Infrequently saving this way is irritating but when I need to save out a handful, a bunch, or 20 files--it becomes a burden stress that I'm certain is stealing years from my life.

Licensing for small-medium studios w/ AE renderfarm is HORRIBLE

Concise description: setup of volume licenses is horrible for small-medium sized studios if there are more computers than there are artists (renderfarms)/ Useless "solutions" being given through support.

Steps to reproduce:

1. have need for more licenses than you have artists

2. don't have enough machines to buy an enterprise subscription

3. talk to support asking for any practical ways to set up per device, not per user, licensing

I handle software installation and general IT at a small animation/ motion graphics studio.

We wanted to upgrade and get everyone on the same version of AE so we looked into buying multiple seats for CC. I THOUGHT that enterprise would work because I could create a distribution package and the package was tied to a master account instead of unique email addresses but I was told by different adobe reps over the course of the day that enterprise was either: 1. only sold for 500+ seats, 2. only sold for 150+ seats, and 3. was for government and educational institutions only (support cant seem t get their facts straight as I was told enterprise is what I needed and then told multiple times that I couldn't get enterprise for entirely different reasons). I was told to buy a Team subscription and that I would have to manually set up unique emails for every single machine on our render farm and manually accept the "team invitation" on each of those emails (yes this was the official "solution" I received from multiple people at adobe support). Well I'm sitting here right now after being locked out of gmail for creating too many accounts and still not having enough, and I don't want to start fragmenting where all these emails are being sent by starting creating yahoo addresses, etc.

The Team subscription is a huge hassle to set up unless you have unique actual people at every computer you want to install the software on, other wise it's a massive pain in the a**. And it says something about the new volume licensing policy that the official solution is to spend all day creating emails that will be used ONCE just to get CC installed on all our machines.

The fix for this is incredibly simple and I don't know why it hasn't been implemented already: Change the policy for enterprise to allow the purchase of ANY number of seats to extend support to small and medium sized businesses, it's not like we're getting a discount for purchasing enterprise subscriptions.

It's ridiculous that this has been overlooked, that I have been spending the past two days TRYING to install industry standard software on our machines, and that I haven't been able too in a reasonable fashion.

Feature request: Filter Apps view

Install All and Update All are really dangerous buttons.

I don't want to install every version of the Apps, but only 64bit and the latest. I fear nothing! ;-)

It'd be great to have the option to filter what Apps you see and what Install All or Update All actually touch.

Not sure how I ended up like this but using CC I ended up with multiple version of software. Not just 64bit vs. 32bit version. But InDesign CS6, CC, and CC(2014).

It'd be great to opt-in to just automagically uninstall all other versions if you're cool with only using latest and greatest as I am.

There are all kinds of new features being added to the Creative Cloud app but knowing what they are and learning about how they work isn't the most user friendly process. The current process is read the release notes after updating to a new version. The release notes should hyperlink to the related features in the product help. It would be great if there was a "What's New" section for the Creative Cloud app itself with new releases which included an introduction to new features just like there is for the desktop products.

Strange white box?

Hi, I have a really strange problem. When I click to CC app on menu bar strange white box appear on my dock. Click to desktop then disappear white box. I tried to with other app on my menu bar just happening when I click to CC.app. What is it and how can I fix that?
