Resetting password in Kuler

I am trying to open Kuler. I havent used it in a while so I reset my password. But, I still cannot open the App.

Do I need to restart my computer or something. This happens frequently when I reset a password in Adobe. It just doesnt

take the new password. Any help? I really cant understand why a free App like Kuler has to be password protected anyway.

Hi all,

we are facing the issue that in some cases of our environment, the auto update / notification update prompts despite using the mms.cfg file. The following is used:

The users do not have administrations rights.

The mms.cfg file location is "64-bit Windows - %WINDIR%\SysWow64\Macromed\Flash".

The mms.cfg file contains the code "AutoUpdateDisable=1" and "AVHardwareDisable=1" (one option per line).

Any entry like "Adobe Flash Player Updater" in the "Task Scheduler Library" is deleted.

In the Flash Player Settings Manager the update section looks like:

Are there any hints why this problem shows up and how to resolve it?!

Flash Player Crashing in Firefox

I have the latest version of FF installed (Win 8.1 platform on two computers) and the latest Adobe Flash Player plugin on both computers. When any video is playing on any website on either computer, if I right click on the video attempting to access the Settings Control Panel for Flash, the player locks up FF and the player crashes. I can wait for the time-out to reload the page and page/video reloads and plays properly. However, I can NEVER access the control panel without the player crashing. The only way to access the control panel is to run Flash Player in unprotected mode. This is a recent occurrence. Anyone else experiencing this phenomenon?

Flash videos all of a sudden stop playing after a few seconds

Hello Adobe Community,

As of this morning I have been unable to play flash videos, through youtube for example, as they stop playing after a few seconds. This seems to be random as in 2-3 seconds, 5 seconds, or up to 11. Not sure why it is this morning that I am having issues and I can't explain it. It's not just Youtube either.

I have tried resetting the router, checking to make sure it's on it's latest firmware (it is), disabling hardware exceleration, and other things. Do you guys have any suggestions? This happened on another computer of mine at work and I thought i fixed the problem there by disabling hardware excelleration.

Flash Player 11 not compatible with Mac OS X 10.5

I just received an Update notification from Adobe system - to update Adobe Flash Player but the Update download doesn't specify what version of Flash Player this would install. When I clicked on "See Details" it took me to an Adobe page that does not SPECIFICALLY address the issue of which version of Flash player this Update notice would install. Unfortunately, I had previously choose to install this UNKNOWN version update and it totally screwed up all Flash videos that I attempted to view. I caused a rapid blinking or flashing of the video then crashed the browser (both, Firefox and Safari). Only after a lot of further research did I discover that Adobe's latest Flash Player Update installed version 11 and version 11 is reported (by Adobe) to be compatible with Mac OS X 10.6, 10.7+. I am running Mac OS X 10.5.8. The Flash installer should have detected the OS version that my computer is running (but obviously it did not!!!). I had to spend more of my valuable time to UN-install Flash Player version 11 and then RE-install version 10.3.183.10. Everything is fine now.............but why is Adobe sending out Updates for Flash Player that: #1 - do not specify what version this Update will be installing and #2 (and more significantly) - why doesn't the Update installer detect the operating system on a computer and if NOT COMPATIBLE, cancel the installation? This is a ridulous and time consuming situation caused by Adobe Systems.

Full Screen Video Problems - Mac

Hello,

I recently purchased a new 5k iMac, which has been amazing so far. The only issue I have ran into is with Flash Videos. I am able to view You Tube videos full screen, but any other Flash Video I try and view full screen results in a Black Screen while the audio plays on. I can close this with the escape key, and the video will resume playing like normal on the small view.

I've tried adjusting my buffering settings (Not quite sure why this would help, but it seemed to be a common theme on other full screen fixes I found.) and performing a clean install of Flash to no effect. I've tried this on both Safari and Chrome, with the same results. If anyone has any suggestions on what I can do to correct this I would greatly appreciate it!

I have tried all the suggestions from Adode. I have made sure shockwave flash player is enabled, I have disabled active x. My flash player will still not work. I am getting the error adobe flash player 10 or higher is required, I thought that it was embedded in windows 8 so I am at a loss as to what to do next.

Hi All ,

I just got a new computer today and installing all the different software etc.

Adobe flash player seems to be buffering the whole video first then playing.

I have tried to re-install the browser.

Tried to uninstall and re-install flash.

I also did the clean uninstall on the video on the forums

nothing seems to help. Anyone else have any other suggestions?

Hi all,

Problem is very weird. I have Mozilla Firefox, IE, latest flash (11.9), Win 8.1 All latest updates. Online video playback with flash player stutters in a very weird way - even if video is fully downloaded it stutters for a second irregulary and then continues normally as if nothing happen. This stutter is similar like someone just opened something on a slow hdd and thus makes the flash playback stutter for just a second (even though i have an ssd that is very fast; rest of computers is i7, r9 280x, so a fast and modern computer). This happens in irregular intervals on both browsers. Video is watchable but this is very annoying. I tried reinstalling just about everything except the OS itself. I disabled hardware acceleration and set cash to unlimited in flash settings, still nothing. This happens with youtube as well as all other flash video in both browsers. Ofcourse other video playback is fine (.avi, .mp4 etc). It can happen 5 times in 5 minutes, and than nothing for half an hour and then starts again.

Anyone else had a similar problem?

I have created a Windows Embedded 8 Standard 64 bit image. I added Adobe Flash Player 11 Support application support feature module (there are no settings for this module) to the image and IE 10. When the system runs and IE is executing Flash player is not running and various messages (depending on websites) notify that Flash player is missing or needs updating. Trying to install the beast results in getting the frustrating helpex.adobe.com page telling me that Flash player is integrated with IE 10 in Win 8 bla bla bla. Following the directions on this page Flash Shockwave is nowhere to be found in the add-ons list so the problem is not solved. So I tried to install Chrome on the system and Flash works in Chrome. Switching to bloody IE the same problem still persists. I Tried to install Flash player and AX separately and no problem installing the player but the AX will not install as for some reason the installer claims it is installed. Looking for the OCX where it should be results in nothing, the registry is void of it. Please no wise cracks about not using IE since it's not my call. Is there a solution to this?

Reduce latency from 6 sec to 4 sec

I have developed a video transmission and viewing application . I am facing a problem of one way video latency of about 6 seconds.

Adobe says that the latency can be reduced to about 3 seconds one way. I have set up the buffertime for transmitter about 3 seconds.

Please can anyone suggest me how to reduce the latency from 6 seconds to about 3 seconds ??

yosemite chrome shockwave crash (daily)

Hi folks, ever since I upgraded my Mac to OS X Yosemite whenever I am using Chrome (which is always) Shockwave crashes sooner or later, every single day - sometimes twice.

Is there a fix for this?

I read some oldish stuff on this site http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/how-to/internet/3332967/how-stop-shockwave-flash-crashing-in-go ogle-chrome/ that says there is a conflict with the Shcokwave plug-ins for the other browsers and to delete them, but I use them too - sometimes at the same tiime.

I was finally writing on these forums after continuous issues with adobe flash player since the beginning of 2014

I cant remember exactly when, but i have tried everything to solve the issue

Let me tell you what my specs are

This is a clean install and I have had this issue numerous times with windows 7 clean installs as well, even windows 8 does the same thing, so I was wondering what the next step is here.

I have an Nvidia GTX 750 running the dual monitors and no odd IE or Chrome plugins

What I have narrowed the issue to is this: when I run a video, no matter what browser or what windows version or what site, I have to run it at 480p, anything more than that makes the cpu peak and the pc slows down

Again the video is 480p, now lets make this HD

This is simply 720p, now the processor spikes to 60+% and the sound chops, the video suffers sync issues and all goes to hell.

It may be a first world problem, but hear me out, some websites do not let me control the video definition and im stuck watching a very annoyingly choppy lengthy video on a large screen where all the small issues seem to get amplified.

My pc hardware is just fine, i tested and retested. Even games run perfectly.

I dont know what to do anymore; I have tried every single fix on these forums and cant seem to be able to fix it.

Again, I have done stress tests on my hardware and I have clean installs every single time, I just use the pc for months before I try to fix it again.

Let me know what info would come in handy and Ill give that out asap.

Double flashplayer installation? Facebook playback issues

Using Chrome, Adobe Flash Player - Version: 15.0.0.189 as the chrome plug in, on PC.

Facebook wasnt loading properly and freezing, googled a solution which was told me It was due to a double flashplayer installation and i had to disable the chrome webappdata plugin which did fix the problem. However then when trying to play videos on Facebook I am prompted to install flash, and then i am told i have the latest flash and need to enable it in chrome bringing me back to square 1. Youtube works fine regardless of whether the Chrome plug in is disabled or enabled.

Any help would be appreciated as it's just kind of annoying.

Flash Player Causes Overheating?

Until relatively recently (a month or so ago?) I had absolutely no problem watching embedded videos. Then, out of nowhere, my laptop started shutting down every time I tried to watch a Flash video online. I eventually realized the problem was auto-shutdown due to massive overheating - my laptop's normal temperature while browsing is around 60-70 C, and any time I watch a Flash video (especially any sort of high-quality Flash video) this jumps up to about 95 C for a few minutes before auto-shutdown. If I leave the Flash video running in a minimized window or an un-focused tab (anywhere where it isn't rendering to the screen), the temperature returns to more reasonable but still seemingly high levels (about 85 C).

This seems crazy to me, considering I can run several hi-def videos simultaneously offline (using Windows Media Player Classic) without my laptop breaking a sweat. I've made sure I have the latest Flash Player updates, and I've tried a number of browsers (IE, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari), with nearly identical results in every one. I can't watch most videos online anymore, and nothing besides Flash Player causes my laptop to overheat like this, including 3D modeling/animation software and video processing/editing software. Can somebody help me out here? Does anybody know what's going on with this?

I use Flash player v15.0.0.189 with Google Chrome (32bits) Version 38.0.2125.111 . I use Windows 8.1

My Laptop (SONY VAIO DUO 11) have 2 cameras (front and rear).

I use dovisio.com website. The camea which is used by Flashplayer is rear camera.

I select the front camera - the preview show the image from the front camera but nothing happens in the video area of Dovisio.

Flash player use always the rear camera in the video area..

I have been having problems with this for about the past 2 weeks. I have Windows Vista and Firefox 15.0 installed on my computer. Ever since the new version of Flash Player came out I've been getting messages that Flash Player has stopped working and that Data Execution Protection has closed it to prevent damage to my computer. This happens constantly when I visit a website with images that need Flash Player to work, when I'm trying to access my voicemail from my ISP online, and trying to watch vidieos that require Flash Player. Is there any way to resolve this? I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but it doesn't do any good. I've also tried installing an earlier version, but this doesn't work either...I keep receiving the same messages.

Win 8.1 stutter issue with Flash 15.0.0.189

Greetings -

I am having stuttering issues with 2 brand new 8.1 computers running flash.

I've done a fair amount of troubleshooting and I believe it's an issue with Win 8.1 and Flash 15.0.0.189 (I don't know about previous versions.

Running this version of flash on my Win 8.0, HP works fine in both IE and Firefox

Running this version of flash on a new (few weeks old) custom built Toshiba Satellite S with Win 7 preloaded works fine in both IE and Firefox

But then I bought a Best Buy "blue label" Toshiba E45 with windows 8.1 I have stutter with both IE and Firefox.

No updated video drivers, but I reinstalled anyways. Also uninstalled/reinstalled flash as well as Firefox. I also unchecked " hardware acceleration" no difference. Changed screen resolution on my desktop, still had problems

Returned it and bought a Lenovo U430 with Windows 8.1 today...still have stuttering on FireFox and IE

Apps that run Silverlight work just fine.

It seems to me that there is an issue with Win 8.1 with the most recent version of Flash.

If an adobe staff member would like me to test the HP or Lenovo U430 further to resolve the issue, please let me know. I really can't handle all this stuttering. I would really love to help get this resolved asap.

If staff would like an example, Gracepoint on Hulu. The most recent episode The first stutter came in when 24:56 min were left at the show and then 22:55 min left. I then switched over to IE and had stutter with 21:20 left in the show, 17:56 left, and then 17:02 left. But it really is random.

When will the next latest flash version come out ?

I used to be able to play various Flash games and watch videos, but I started noticing last week that I have lost the ability to do so on every browser I have installed (IE, GC, FF). I have a Desktop HP with Windows 7 Ultimate, SP1, 64 bits with an ATI Radeon 4500, catalyst 13.1.

Java (8.0.250) and Flash Player (15.0.0.189) with automatic update option.

Videos on IE11 and Firefox 30.0 give me an green screen image with sound.

I have reinstalled the all thing, partially, fully, and no result at all!

There is no option for disabling hardware acceleration, and I think it would be, if possible, a poor solution.

Yes, I have executed the very celebrated solution uninstalling the 2 windows updates (KB2735855 and KB2750841) and the blindness remains.

Hope the industry publicize a fix for this very soon; it is a disturbing problem at several levels and, once again, I am considering seriously passing all my professional profile for a Linux environment.

ich versuche ein für mich sehr schwieriges und komplexes Problem zu lösen und bitte um Tipps oder Hilfe.

Gerät: Notebook / Windows 8.1 - früher Vista....und HP Drucker und ich bitte um Entschuldigung für die lange und komplexe Schilderung

da ich schon mit sehr langen und wiederholt fehlgeschlagenen Lösungsversuchen und Suchen in diversen und HP Forum

recht ratlos bin.

Ausgangspunkt als zeitliche Folge von Ursache und Wirkung kann ich schlecht rekonstruieren. Entweder hängt es damit zusammen, dass ich ausser Chrome und IE noch Firefox Browser installierte bzw. auch das letzte neues Software-Treiber- Update von HP installiert wurde oder auch nach einem Microsoft Update KB 3001237 vom 16.10.

Das Problem zeigte sich vordergründig im fehlerhaften Aufrufen des HP Solution Centers meines All in One Druckers Officejet 6500 E709a.Ein Fehlerprogrammbild namens HPdirec. exe gibt die Fehlermeldung aus: '

C....Windows System 32\ Macromed\ Flash\Flash.ocx ist entweder nicht für die Ausführung unter Windows vorgesehen oder enthält einen Fehler. Installieren Sie das Programm mit den Originalinstallationsmedien erneut oder wenden Sie sich ...an Ihren Systemadministrator oder Softwarelieferanten..

Im nur starr auftauchendem schwarzem Solution Fenster heisst es 'dass die auf Ihrem Computer installierte Version des Flash Players nicht mit dem Internet Explorer verwendet werden kann.'

Dann Link-Hinweis auf Adresse Adobe usw.

Dort wird mir aber lediglich nach mehreren Klicks mitgeteilt, dass der Flash Player bereits im IE integriert bzw. installiert sei.

und wenn ich doch hartnäckig und laienhaft versucht habe ,einen Adobe Flash Player ausfindig zu machen und downgeloaded hatte und ihn dann installieren wollte, entpuppte es sich als nicht installierbar bzw. das KB-Update von Microsoft (siehe oben)

In den AddOns des IE finde ich unter Name 'nicht verfügbar' und Herausgeber 'nicht verfügbar' lediglich einen 'Shockwave Flash Objekt' als aktiviert - kein weiteres AddOn und unter Sicherheit ist kein Haken bei AktiveX-Filterung...

Unter dem Ordner C...... Windows\System32\Macromedia\Flash finde ich

aber nirgendwo ist dort und auch (Suche gestartet) im C:\Laufwerksverzeichnis die oben in der Fehlermeldung angegebene Datei Flash.ocx zu finden.

Zunächst hatte ich diese Fehlermeldung nur mit meinem HP Solution Center gekoppelt, aber

die Meldung tauchte auch woanders auf. Ich habe nach unendlich vielen Versuchen mit Deinstallation, Installation - IE Deaktivierung - Aktivierung drei Cleaner Tools laufen lassen in der Hoffnung, dass durch Bereinigung alter oder fehlerhafter Registry Einträge das Problem von alleine resetten würde.

Und ausgerechnet bei dem Tool Wise Registry Cleaner tauchte die gleiche Fehlermeldung auf wie oben nur mit einer anderen Bezeichnung vor dem .EXE - und im Hintergrund als zunächst starres Bild die Umrisse vom Menü des Tools.

Jedoch: Als ich lediglich auf den OK Button der Fehlermeldung drückte, wurde das Tool Menü vollständig geladen und ich konnte damit arbeiten, im Gegensatz zu dem HP Solution Center.

Ich benötige aber das Menü des HP SC um im Besonderen die Scan- und Speicherung Funktion des Geräte zum PC hin zu nutzen und auch andere Funktionen des Multi-Druckers gebrauchen zu können.

Keyboard layout switching hangs Flash Player plugin

Hello!

I'm using a software component switching the keyboard layout programmatically. It works OK except with Flash Player plugins in Firefox and Chrome. When the plugin is active, trying to switch the keyboard layout results in that browser comletely freezes. I've written a small C program to test the issue (see the message bottom), and the program freezes at the line

I've tryed switching off the Flash Player hardware acceleration and even starting Windows in safe mode with network drivers — nothing helps. But Opera and IE work ok and layout switching from the system task panel also works ok. Who can tell what may be the cause?

My video will skip forward while audio moves on as per normal.

This is not the long ongoing problem of the video stuttering for 1 second. I experienced a different one.

E.g. A 5 min video. The image will suddenly skip from 2min to 2.3min and stop at 2.3min. While the audio still moving from 2-2.3 min. And only when audio reaches the 2.3min where the video stopped, only then will the video start playing again.

Win8.1

Using Firefox.

I first experienced this problem in 15.0.0.189 after this i rollback to 15.0.0.152 but still had the problem. Now using 14.0.0.179, Just installed now testing this version.

Pls help on any updates on this problem

Seemingly arbitrary flashes do not load.

First off, I made this account specifically for bringing up the issue I am having.

Now, onto the issue itself: For some Flashes, it will simply not load. I'll get a white screen, and right-clicking it will only yield "About Adobe Flash 15.0.0.189" and "Movie not loaded", and the latter will be greyed out.

Normally, Flash items load within seconds for me. When this issue occurs, I can refresh tens of times and wait several minutes, and still nothing. I admit, I may be being a little impatient in regards to this.

As for statistics....

I am running Windows 8.1, 64 bit OS, with an x64 based processor.

It was a clean install, and I did this less than a week ago. I am very sure I have my drivers up to date. (I checked less than a day ago from the time of writing this.)

I have tried installing the latest version of Flash. I've done so multiple times in fact. The majority of videos on Youtube, streaming sites and flash games work.

I have experienced the issue on 4 different browsers (IE, Firefox, Google Chrome, Apple Safari), and it did not help one bit. I downloaded the last 2 of those browsers for the purpose of trying to figure out, and maybe solve this issue.

I have experienced this issue on multiple different websites.

I in fact, recently switched to this computer from an older one, running an older OS, older versions of Firefox, and as of this date, seems to have a dying hard drive. It NEVER experienced this issue. This is not hyperbole, exaggeration, fiction or whatever such a statement would properly be called. To the best of my recollection, it is fact.

I apologize in advance for my attitude. Thank you in advance to anyone who offers me assistance in solving this issue.

I've already posted about this, but I didn't get a meaningful answer, and another user who posted with the exact same issue was also unanswered.

My question is very simple: How do I install Flash Player on a Mac without an admin password? The downloadable installer demands one before it will do anything. When I click "show package contents" and extract the Flash installer package, open it up manually, and unzip the archive inside it, I get an unusable "Flash Player.plugin.lzma" file.

I need a way to decompress the Flash Player.plugin.lzma file.

I need a link to download the Flash Player plugin, as in the actual "Flash Player.plugin" file, and NOT an installer app, which the main download link offers.

An installer program that can extract and install the Flash Player file into ~/Library/Internet Plugins and do so WITHOUT demanding an admin password.

I get error's on websites that try to use flash. I've tried multiple websites on both IE and FF. Each of the websites is telling me I have to "install Flash" or I have to "Upgrade Flash"

I went to my control panel and saw that I have Adobe's Flash. I went into it and to advanced and did a "Check now" It says I have 15.0.0.189 -- the Adobe Website says that is the latest.

As a last resort I went to the Adobe website and picked "Install Flash" on the first screen it has a check for Flash Player. It told me "Congratulations you have the latest version of Flash"

I went back to the websites that use flash and they tell me I need to "Install Flash" or "Upgrade Flash".

What am I doing wrong?

Xfinity.comcast.com ---> Install Flash to view streaming files.

espn.go.com --> Insufficient Flash player Requirements, Download the latest version.

Foxnews.com --> You need to install Flash Player to view

Baqiworld.com/2011/10/watch-cnn-usa-live --> Please upgrade to the latest version of Flash

I have more -- I can't prove that any flash site works since I don't know all the websites that use it.

I am using Windows 7 Home Premium and I updated Flash Player recently to the latest version. However from time to time my computer seems to get itself locked up and freezes. When I open the Task Manager it shows Flash Player 15 running anything from 7-8 versions to as many as 15-20 versions (like it was just before I came here seeking answers or solutions). As I am not a technical person I will describe what happens.

When this happens it always seems to happen when playing YouTube content. Usually it seems okay at first then after maybe watching 3-4 YouTube clips the next clips starts to stutter. Then I will get a message within the YouTube frame that Flash Player has crashed.

I have 4 Gb memory and 131 Gb free Hard Disk space. All my drivers, Windows 7, and Flash Player itself are all fully up to date. I got Panda Antivirus (also up to date), and use latest version of Spybot Search & Destroy (started to use this because I thought it was malware causing issues with Flash Player). I use the latest version of Firefox as well.

Frankly I am at a loss what is going on and what is causing this issue to happen.

If someone can think of any idea of what I can try to get Flash Player to work better or proper, it would be appreciated.

I have a macbook OS X version 10.9.5.

I have the latest flash player update according to the adobe website.

However, when I try to watch movies//tv episodes on anything besides youtube, I get a plug in error saying its not installed.

I want to be able to watch things again on my computer! Help!
