Adobe Presenter 10 Drag and Drop questions - only grey box when trying to create

Hi,

I try to create drag and drop questions in Presenter 10 and after clicking on Add Question -> Drag Drop, the new window opens but where I should be able to define the questions etc, the screen is just grey. Have the same issue on three other systems as well.

Flash is updated to latest version and so is Presenter 10.

Weirdly the installed Flash version is 15, but a right-click into the grey box shows me version 11.

Any ideas?

Video Express won't run

I installed Adobe Presenter 10 and Video Express on my Windows 7 PC with Microsoft Office 2013. The Adobe Presenter add-in works fine, but video express won't run either through PowerPoint or on its own. Why will the program not even open? All it says is Adobe Presenter has stopped working when I try to run the Video Express.

How to add video's control bar?

Today, I've searched 24 pages here for related discussion but no solution was found.

These pictures I listed here were created by other people.

I want to know how to add a control bar below the video? Is it to use the Insert->Video button of Adobe Presenter (0002.jpg), or use the Insert->video button of PowerPoint (0003.jpg)? When I insert a video (in .flv format), it shows like a white box in the original PPT (see 0004.jpg), looks different from the existing 0001.jpg.

And after I published this PPT (with the white box-like video) locally, when this video slide loads, that video plays immediately, but I want pause/stop function.

I also noticed if I try to import a video in .m4v (MP4 Video), PowerPoint says QuickTime is required.

I used to insert video in year 2010, but I forget the details. Maybe at that time I inserted a video with pause/stop function, but I forget.

Or, is it because a specific video format would naturally show the control button?

Video creation and importation in Powerpoint

If a reocrd a video and publish it on my computer as a mp4.

When I want to import the mp4 file in Adobe Presenter (Powerpoint) it open Adobe Media Encoder and re-encode the files before importing it on my slide. also it import the video in a 320X240 resolution.... Why ? The source file is already a mp4 and it has a resolution of 1280X720.

現在presenter7とoffice2007、Win7を使用しております。

PowerPoint(pptx)内のアニメーションをswfファイルに変換する際に関してです。

元のPowerPoint(pptx)内のアニメーションに”繰り返し”を使用している場合、

吐き出されたswfファイルではその”繰り返し”が正しく再現されません。

試しにと思い、presenter10(試用版)を別のマシンにインストールして

presenter10とoffice2010、Win7でも実行してみましたができませんでした。

これに関して何か対策、もしくは設定での対処はできますでしょうか？

Why is this feature important to you? The new "Adobe Presenter video creator" is great as a standalone video creator. But when I'm in Powerpoint and want to record a simple sidebard video for 1 slide... It's a shame that the simple old way to do this doesn't exist anymore. I just want to click "record", select that I want my video in the sidebar, record my video with my webcam and then stop... I just want to know if other think like me...

Here, we use Adobe Presenter to make online courses. We use it to add narration to slides. And occasionnally, we want to add a video in the sidebar section for an intro for example... In Presenter 7 we could click on record, choose that we want the recording video at the sidebar position, record the video with the webcam and that's it... it's done ! We have a slide that has a video in the sidebar.

Now in Presenter 9, we have a new way to make video but that doesn't work !!!

The Adobe Presenter video creator is great as a standalone software... But when I'm in Powerpoint in my Adobe Presenter tab and I want to add a simple video record with my webcam... I just want to click record video and see that my webcam open and can record. I don't want that another software open, that I have to export the video, go back to my Powerpoint, import the video that I previously export....... It was so easy in Presenter 7.... Why did they remove that simple function ?

Also, when Adobe Presenter video creator open, it also make a screen capture. That great when you need it... but when you don't need it... you don't want it. Can you add a button : "record webcam only" ?

I have a HD webcam and with the Adobe Presenter video creator I cannot get a simple fullscreen video of the webcam. If I make a recording and then select the layout to see just the webcam. I have the image of my webcam in the middle and the captured screen dimmed in the background. So, if I import that video in the sidebar section, that doesn't work !!! I don't want the dimmed background behond the image recorded by the webcam...

Just to add a note...

I'm a audiovisual technician and works with a lot of Adobe software (Premiere Pro, After Effect, Lightroom, Photoshop...)

I know that I can record a introduction video in my studio. Edit it with Premiere Pro and import it in Powerpoint Adobe Presenter in the sidebar section.

But I work with University teachers and lots of them want to make their online course alone. They need to record a small video clip with Adobe Presenter and they want to be able to do that easily as in old version of Adobe Presenter... nobody understand why that function doesn't exist anymore...

they are thinking now to use another software instead of Adobe Presenter.........

Hi,

Is it possible to have other kind of naming for the audio files create with the record option of Adobe Presenter.

I record narration on a presentation and I lost de .ppcx file. So, I have to reimport all my audio. the name of the audio files are 144076652.mp3, 911255966.mp3, etc...

I have 34 slides...

I just want Presenter to name the file a better way... Like:

(name of presentation)_Slide01.mp3 (for the audio of slide 1)

(name of presentation)_Slide02.mp3 (for the audio of slide 2)

(name of presentation)_Slide03.mp3 (for the audio of slide 3)

and so on...

Is it possible to change the way Presenter name the audio files it record ?

I would be very very much easier to reimport the file at the right place.

html5 publication problem

Hello, I try the html5 publication... and I notice some problem in the output files.

1-The logo I use for the Presenter information is 148 x 52 pixel. It works well with the old Presenter version... but in the html5 publication, the size is not the same as in SWF. On the computer the logo appears smaller and on the tablet it appears in another proportion. That's weird !!!

2-Even if I select a theme without the notes of the Powerpoint, in html5 publication the appears if I click to see the notes (CC). In SWF, the notes doesn't appears if I choose a theme without the notes. How to hide the notes in html5 publication ?

3-I have an audio problem on the first slide.

In SWF publication, the audio begin at 2sec and end à 5sec the presentation pass to the second slide at 6 sec. That's what it's suppose to be... Fine

In html5, the audio begin at 4sec and end at 7sec (seems to) but the presentation pass also to the second slide at 6 sec. So, I miss the end of the audio on the first slide.

How to correct that ?

It's very great to have html5 publication possibility. I hope that it will be better and better...

What parameters can I put in the Presenter 10 configuration xml?

I'm looking to make a silent installation of Presenter 10 and noticed the configuration.xml file and it's ability to take a list of parameters. What's missing is what parameters it takes. Can anyone provide that?

I cannot install Presenter 10 because I get a message "A conflicting or prelease version ... exists on this computer"

I previously had Presenter 8 installed, then upgraded to Presenter 9. I have uninstalled both. However, I get this message when I try to install Presenter 10: "A conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Presenter 10 (64 bit) exists on this computer. The conflicting version must be removed before installing from the current media."

I never had Presenter 10 installed previously in any form. I suspect something in the Registry is the problem. Anyone had this experience and know how to resolve it?

Have problems to package Presenter 10 with CCP 1.7 and hopes someone can help me with this.

Its for Windows 7 64-bit and Office 2013 32-bit.

If i make a package for 64-bit i CCP Everything installs perfectly but no add-in i Powerpoint !?

If i make a package for 32-bit i CCP its not possible to install on my system.

Uploading a Powerpoint with embedded videos to a Connect Meeting to work on desktop and mobile; has anyone done this?

I would like to upload a Powerpoint file with embedded videos to work on both desktop and mobile clients in a Connect Meeting. Has anyone managed to do this with Presenter 10 because you cannot do this by uploading to a Connect Meeting directly. Adobe tell me that I need to buy Presenter 10.

The problem I find, apart from some really irritating permission errors with Presenter 10 that often means the project fails to be published to Connect, is that the desktop version of Connect uses Flash and does not support HTML5. The mobile client does not support MP4(!). You have to use FLV video to work in both, but Powerpoint does not support this. Also Media Encoder 2014 does not support FLV so you have to use an earlier version.

So unless I am missing something the only way to get video to work on both platforms is to remove it from the PPT/PPTX, convert to FLV and then add the FLVs to a separate pod. This is a major and time consuming endeavour and is becoming a significant problem for me.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Mouse problem in Adobe Presenter Video Creator

I have Adobe Presenter 9.0.2 build 173, 64-bit and I seem to have a strange thing going on in Adobe Presenter Video Creator when I use it to do screen recording to demonstrate software.

If I allow it to change my screen resolution as recommended by the application - 'change display Resolution during recording (Recommended)' - the mouse click occurrences recorded in the video occur a small distance away from where I actually clicked the mouse. So say I'm demonstrating the Ribbon in Microsoft Word 2013. If I click on the 'Home' tab on the ribbon, the video makes it look like I'm clicking on the 'Insert' tab just to the right of it.

However, if I uncheck the box 'change display Resolution during recording (Recommended)', the moue clicks in the recorded video are in exactly the correct positions. I would be happy to record in this mode but the trouble is the fonts and pixels are not as clear when I record in this way with the display resolution box unchecked as when I record with the box checked.

I'd like to know how to let Adobe Presenter Video Creator record at the recommended display resolution and have mouse clicks recorded correctly in the correct locations.

Any ideas anyone? Thank you.

I have published the SCORM 1.2 package using Presenter 10 (project contains static slides and audio only). I had tried to upload it to Moodle 2.7 LMS - after uploading it shows the dialog: Error: parameter sesskey is missing. What can I do? Please, any idea.

I have been using Adobe Presenter in my Power-point 2013 for over a month now with Adobe Presenter 10. Last week when I opened my file again, Adobe Presenter was not available any more. I have tried to re-install Adobe Presenter, enabled Add in Powerpoint option but to no avail. What is the problem?

Windows 7, IE 10, Adobe Presenter 9

I have an email hyperlink created in PPT/Presenter that works fine within PPT. However, when I publish the course to My Documents and view the presentation, once I click the email hyperlink, it opens an email but opens an additional window..."Navigation to webpage canceled". It reacts this same way when published to our LMS. The user will need to close the extra window, which may cause confusion. Our IT department has looked at my IE security settings and I have set my flash security settings to "allow" for My Documents folder. I went back to a similar course I created a couple of years ago, but I do not receive this message when I click the hyperlink. I was using an older version of Presenter at that time.

Has anyone experienced this same issue and had a resolution?

Adobe Presenter 10 does not work with Powerpoint

Hi,

I have followed all the advice given in this forum regarding Adobe Presenter 10, but I cannot get the Adobe Presenter 10 tab to show in PowerPoint. It used to work when I had the trial license, but now that I have a licensed version it stops working.

What is going wrong?

(Yes I have uninstalled, restarted, installed, uninstalled, used the File->Options->Com Add-in approach BTW why is Adobe Presenter not a valid Office Add-in?)

Additional information:

Powerpoint 2013, 64-bit
If I uninstall Adobe Presenter and reinstall as administrator it works until the next restart, then it stops working.
Launching Presenter from the Start Menu does not help, it stills gets to the situation where PowerPoint does not
It only works if I run PowerPoint as administrator.

I am having a lot of trouble getting my slides to auto advance. When I preview the presentation within PowerPoint (Adobe Presenter tab, Preview, Preview Presentation), everything looks fine, but when I publish and preview in the browser, the first slide auto plays, but then the following slides do not. I've tried changing just about every setting regarding slide behavior that I can think of and have included screenshots of the screens I've made changes with. I'd appreciate any and all suggestions!

I made an presentation with Quiz Manager, Adobe Presenter 10.

I published files ,with checking 'enable reporting for this presentation' and selecting 'Tincan' as settings.

And I putted OpenAjaxManagedHub-all.js file to /data/resources/ha/OpenAjaxManagedHub-all.js

I deployed to server, and tried to put Public LRS(http://tincanapi.com/report-sample/).

Is there a limit to how big the video file can be, storage size or pixel size, when inserting in a powerpoint?

When I add a video file to a ppt file using adobe presenter 9 it will now work when it reaches that slide. the video will start but at about 30 seconds in it will tear to green. Sometimes it will return and sometimes it will just stop after that. When it comes back it will continue until about 40-45 seconds in then on a fade to black it will not play anymore. The slider will continue as if it is playing but no output is seen on the screen.

The video file in question is 165MB, 1920 x1080 pixels MP4

If I convert it to smaller, 65MB, 1080 x 608 MP4 file everything works with no issue.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

How do you import Presenter files into Presenter 8

Hi Everyone:

I just gave a user a new computer and I'm trying to transfer all of the profile files from Presenter to the new computer.

I tried copying everything in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe Presenter\Presenters to the new location, but they don't show up in Presenter.

If I make a new presenter, that one shows up in the AppData directory but none of the profiles I copied over show up.

It doesn't look like Presenter 8 has an "import" function.

I deleted the folder for the test Presenter I made and it still showed up in Adobe Presenter.

So, my question is "How can I get Presenter 8 to read these imported directories?" Is there a directory or hidden file I'm missing or a change in the registry settings?

Saying, "Upgrade to Presenter 10" is a valid response, but I was hoping to get around that.

Any help or assistance would be greatly appreciated.

Removing all remants of Presenter 9

I mistakenly downloaded Presenter 10 64 bit and had to uninstall due to MS being 32 Bit. I then downloaded Presenter 9 32 bit and when I loaded up Powerpoint I got a corrupt message.

I used the ADD/REMOVE programs to remove Presenter 9 but go the message Presenter 9 already installed when I try to install again. I have searched forums and run REG cleanups etc but to no avail, every time I try to reinstall Presenter 9, I get the message that it is already installed and I can find no trace of it.

I have also rebooted my machine numerous times.

Any suggestions?

Do you know if Adobe has a product similar to Prezi?

We are looking for an on-line presentation tool for our sales people. The Adobe tool should enable us to upload company ppt. template and edit it. It must have features such as transitions, effects, multimedia, import/export flexibility and to play videos. We want to access it any time online / offline protected by a password (or to be sure that data are secured). The output should be innovative, eye catching and interesting for our customers. I'm trying to create a video with closed caption. When I tell PVE I want to enable captions (before clicking the red Rec button), then record, then go to edit mode, I see no captions.

Hello there,

I had been using Adobe Presenter 7 until recently and I have now upgraded to Presenter 10 for use within Powerpoint 2013. Unfortunately I am having quite a few issues with it.

I am using it to make presentations built up of imported video files, as I had been doing before with Presenter 7 without any issue. I typically have a presentation of 6 parts and import each video file ~80MB Mp4 into a single slide then name each slide adding a presenter and output it to an 'swf' file. This worked fine in Presenter 7.0.7. Now my issue is that the output will load the player it will have the correct presenter, and timings on the chaptered sidebar but when it plays the presentation area of the screen is just white, there's no audio, no video just the correct time for each section. I've checked the output folder the individual video files will play within windows media player without issue.

It should be noted that the html5 only version works fine, until uploaded to a web server and then it will not load any of the player with IE11 (I can't test it in other browsers).

I would appreciate some help with this if anyone has any ideas to fix this.

When I added mp3 audio to the interaction buttons through Presenter 8, it works through Power Point 2010. But when I publish the presentation through Adobe, the audio posted to the interaction does not play. Any ideas how to fix?

I am using the new Presenter 10 on a 64 bit machine running Powerpoint 2010. I've imported the videos in MP4.H264 format. Published successfully and uploaded to our webserver. I've been using Presenter since version 6.0 and am very used to the product. I was really looking forward the HTML5 abilities finally but have been very frustrated.

When I publish to our server almost every slide works great across all platforms (IE, Chrome, Safari) on desktops and PCs. The audio works, the forward and back works, animations work, everything is good except the videos. I keep getting the continuous "buffering" message. When I publish as "both" HTML5 and SWF the videos work correctly when viewed on a desktop machine, but don't work on a tablet, which is kind of the point to using HTML5 now.

I tried contacting Support on this but its been almost a week with no results, anyone have any ideas? I import the videos successfully with no error messages from Presenter. Is there a "secret" setting when converting the videos or does anyone have ideas that our webserver is maybe missing a setting.

No RETURN possible in Short answer field

I have a Presenter 10 Testversion (German) and plan to buy it.

However I have some Problems with it. I use Windows 7 + PPT 2013 (64 bit)

One of my Problems is:

I have created a Short answer (Umfrage) with an Editor field in size of 7 cm x 10 cm. Whe it runs in Browser (latest Chrome) it does not allow a "RETURN". When I used Presenter 7 long time ago it worked properly.

This is my most urgent problem, which I have to fix, before I use the presentation in front of customers.

Can you give me an advice, please?

I've searched all the forums/discussions and couldn't find this. Can you embed output from an Engage '13 Presentation into Adobe Presenter '09? We used to be able to do this with Engage '09 and Adobe Presenter '09. I found an article about embedding Engage '13 as a web object but can't see that I can do that in Adobe Presenter '09. Any advice is appreciated.

Quiz answer and buttons will not show in Presenter 10 and publishing problem

Not sure if these two are related but since upgrading to Presenter 10 I ran across these two issues, they appeared together:

1. When publishing in any of the format options (SWF, HTML 5 or both) I get an error message halfway through: Adobe Presenter is unable to publish this presentation. Pleae check that there is enough disk space and you have appropriate permissions for the destination folder.
2. When previewing slides I noticed that certain quiz answers like True /False do not appear, I see the bullet point but there is no text, the blue feedback buttons show but again no text.

Any help would be appreciated as I am trying to update material for a currently running course. I am thinking of downgrading back to Adobe Presenter 9 and see if that helps.

when i try to convert ppt file to scorm packet presenter menu disappear from office menu bar

then I try to add menulauncher.dll

but i experience "menulauncher.dll does not office extention" message on the screen

I tried to oll fallowing steps but unfortunataly

Issue

The Adobe Presenter menu doesn't appear in PowerPoint even though the Adobe Presenter Add-in for Microsoft PowerPoint is installed.

Solution

Click the Office PowerPoint button (upper left), and then click PowerPoint Options.

Select Add-Ins. In the Manage pop-up menu at the bottom of the Options dialog box, select Disabled Items and click Go
In the Disabled Items dialog box, click the Presenter add-in, and then click Enable.

Note: There aren't any items listed in the screenshot. In your installation, you sometimes see the Adobe Presenter PowerPoint Add-in.

Click Close.
If the above solution doesn't work, try the following:

Click the Office PowerPoint button (upper left), and then click PowerPoint Options.
Select Add-Ins. In the Manage pop-up menu at the bottom of the dialog box, select COM Add-Ins and click Go.
Select Adobe Presenter Powerpoint COM Addin from the list. Write down the Location path.
Deselect all add-ins in the list except the Adobe Presenter Addin and click Remove.
Click Add and navigate to the MenuLauncher.dll file at the location you wrote down in step 3.
Click OK. Click OK again.

Click Help > About Microsoft Office PowerPoint > Disabled Items.

In the Disabled Items dialog box, click the Presenter add-in, and then click Enable.

Click Close.

Adobe presenter 10 corrupting color and shapes

Hi, I'm using Adobe Presenter 10 with Powerpoint 2007 on Windows 8 PC.

When publishing a presentation in either SWF or HTML5 to Adobe Connect Pro server all the grouped shapes and colors are corrupting.

All the elements are turned to light blue fill with black borders.

This effect happens at the powerpoint end as Presenter goes through creating files part of the publishing process.

I can see the corrupting happening on screen.

Any tips on what might be causing this?

I was previously using Adobe Presenter 7 with Powerpoint 2007 on Windows 8 PC with no issues.

Unexpected error - dual monitors

Presenter 8 is giving an error message "Adobe Presenter has encountered an unexpected problem while working with the presentation...." This occurs as soon as I hit the record button within PowerPoint. I tried numerous fixes including starting with a blank presentation, running PowerPoint as an administrator, using a different user account (the admin account) and disabling all add-ins. Nothing worked. I am reluctant to re install because I had such a difficult time with the E-Learning Suite 6.1 re install when I received a new computer.

I am running dual monitors. PowerPoint opens a new window on my secondary screen and that is where the error message opens. I tried setting graphics properties to only show one monitor, but as soon as I start Presenter, the second monitor becomes active and I get the error message again.

However, if I physically disconnect one of the monitors then Presenter opens without an error message. What troubleshooting steps can I take to get Presenter to work with both monitors connected? Obviously I don't want to disconnect a monitor each time I need to work.

I am running: WIndows 8.1 64 bit, PowerPoint 2013 32 bit, Presenter 8 32 bit, on a Dell Inspiron with an Nvidia control panel.

Problems downloading trial version of Presenter 10 when having Presenter 9 installed

I have Presenter 9 installed on a Windows 7 laptop, and before deciding to buy Presenter 10 I would like to test its features. However, the installation fails complaining about a conflicting or prerelease version of Adobe Presenter 10 already existing on the computer. I can't find Presenter 10 anywhere (control panel or files. What do I need to do to get Presenter 10 installed (with a trial license) while keeping Presenter 9?

Presenter SCORM courses not scoring correctly in Firefox

We are having an issue with SCORM courses created in Presenter not communicating back the correct quiz score when using the new version of Firefox. These courses worked properly in the older version of Firefox. I can provide the course if needed. The courses were created in Presenter 7.0.5.7588. Tried creating the course in version 10 but it still didn't work.

社内でeラーニングを開催するため、

Adobe Presenter 9 というソフトを使ってPowerPointのファイル（教材）を

SCORM形式に変換し　eラーニングシステムに登録しました。

開催側としては数十ページある教材を

1ページずつ飛ばさずに見てもらいたいのですが、

画面右側のアウトライン（目次）の各項目をクリックすると

そのページまで飛んでしまう　という状況になっています。

これを改善するため　下記のような設定変更は可能でしょうか？

もしくは他に良案があれば賜りたくお願いします。

・ページを飛ばさず　1ページずつ順番に見るように設定する。

・アウトラインそのものを表示されないようにする。（目次表示を隠す。）

audio in interactions

I am able to add audio to a button within the interaction using presenter 10, but when previewed or published it does not play.

Many times it sent me an error message and close PP. It also send the message to disable Presenter add-in.

Any suggestion?

Display issues in Presenter - Posting

I have a display problem in Presenter when posting. When I ask that there is only "plan" tab that appears, unwanted band appears in the first slide of the questionnaire and remains thereafter. (photo 1 -under red arrow)

If I call up two tabs, the second appears off the screen (photo 2 - in the purple arrow).

It seems that this problem is related to the theme. When I take a default theme proposed by Adobe Prensenter I do not have these problems. However, for purposes of publications I have to remove some information, some tabs.

Do you have any possible solutions to solve my problem?

With earlier version of Prensenter I did not meet this kind of problem.

Relevant information:

- I created and saved a theme with colors and tabs desired (photo 3): the problem remains

- PowerPoint 2013 on PC

- Adobe Presenter 10

Adobe Presenter 9 quiz results reporting to LMS

We have over 50 users of AP9, and currently use a Success Factors LMS. Our AP9 quiz results are currently reporting only the cut/mastery score to the LMS student transcript, not the actual score the student gets. Any ideas? I've read all the help and tutorial material and it does not address the actual score reporting anywhere. What are the correct quiz and Reporting options settings to get actual scores reported for a final quiz? We SCORM wrap v1.2. Our LMS suppport says it is pulling what AP9 sends- which is the cut score. When we test as a learner, we can get 100% but if the mastery score is set at 80% we see as a learner we acheived 100% but only 80% score goes to our transcript. Does AP 10 function differently in this aspect than AP 9?
