Hi All,
When we try to install panel in a specific environment in all the systems we are getting -411 error, which denotes compatible app not found
We can still open the Premiere pro in the same machine.
We tried to install the panel for 2017.0.1 and 2017.0.2 both are not working in this specific environment with windows os.
On further checking we found
that when we try the /list all command its not showing all the products name in the command prompt
exmancmd /list all
0 extension installed for others
status extension name version
------------------------------------------
but in other environments we get
0 extension installed for Photoshop cc 2017 64
status extension name version
------------------------------------------
0 extension installed for Premiere Pro CC 2017
status extension name version
------------------------------------------
Can someone give a solution for this
Thanks and Regards,
Anoop NR
How was PPro installed on that system?
To learn what applications we think are installed on that system, run ExManBridgeTalkCmd (next to ./ExManCmd).
Also, they have their own forum: Extension Manager

Hi Bruce,
We have passed the command to get the details from that environment.
Also posted the query in Extension manager forum, here is the link exmancmd /install panel.zxp getting -411

Hi Bruce,
We have uninstalled Premiere pro and media encoder and reinstalled again from Creative cloud app.
Still panel installation is not installing. Now the new error message is Failed to install, status = -412!
Here is the screenshot of commands we executed.
Please suggest,

Sorry about that.
According to the error code reference, that means:
An add-on with the same name has been installed.
Solution: Remove the conflicting add-on and reinstall this one.

Hi Bruce,
As you can see in the screenshot in the last replay, when we list all to list all the extensions there is no extension installed,
but still its showing 412 error. If we try to do "exmancmd /remove NAME" we will get the error message -failed to get extension handle by extension name, status=-406. This is the problem, even if the panel is not there in the system, its still showing 412 (An add-on with the same name has been installed)
Thanks and Regards,

That's very odd. Do you see this on multiple systems?
FTP me your panel, and we'll investigate further.

Hi Bruce,
We have made the changes to the panel as per your recommendation.
Uploaded it to Adobe add on and it got Approved.
Accrued an installed the panel in different machines and it worked fine.
BUT in the very system where we were having the issue of showing addon with same name already exists even when there is no addon installed in that machine, is still having issues when we try to install the panel from Adobe addon site too..
Here is the screenshot.
Please advice.

Hi Bruce,
Still no reply from anyone in Add on or Exmancmd team.
Users are still facing problem with installation of panel in that specific machine.
Can you please escalate this issue and help us resolve this problem.

Hi Anoop, Bruce, AnkMaan,
Was this problem fixed? I work with InDesign and I am facing the same problem.
I upgraded InDesign to the latest version (13.0.1) and since then 'ExManCmd.exe /list all' would not list InDesign as a product on my Windows machine. However, on my Mac, 'ExManCmd --list all' lists the same latest version of InDesign 13.0.1.
Also, when I try to install my extension, I get error -411.
I have tried many things but can not seem to get around this.
If something worked for you, it may work for me.
Thanks, Swati.

I have no specific guidance to provide, beyond
1. Make sure you're using the latest ExManCmd
and
2. work with avetting@adobe.com to get the issue resolved.
