Video feed is very clear but the sound stopped working?? HELP PLEASE

I created a video with sound that was working perfectly. It was recent when the sound for my video stopped working. What should I do? Also, is there anything I can do from preventing this from happening again?

You may want to try cleaning the disk cache.

on top of the interface/edit (windows) Premiere Pro (Mac) Preferences/ Media and disk cache/clean disk cache or clean unused. Then restart Premiere.
