Newest version of LR classic can't import neither compressed nor uncompressed ARW files generated by camera model Sony ILCE-7M3.

Will there be given a solution in near future?

This camera is not currently supported. Only Adobe knows when it will be supported, and they never state this information in advance.

If you're referring to the Sony a7R III (ILCE-7RM3), note that it was announced on 10/25 but isn't available from Amazon until 11/30.

As dj_paige said, Adobe never discloses when the next release is coming or what will be in it.

However, in the past, LR added support for new Sony cameras in the release following their announcement about 58% of the time.  And new versions of LR came out on average every two months: Re: Timing of Lightroom releases .

If Adobe continues the same practices with LR 7 (Classic), then since the Sony Alpha 7R III was announced on October 25, this would suggest that there's a little bit better than even chance it will be supported in the next release of LR, and if not then, almost certainly in the release following.  The next release might come out in the middle of December.  But this is just educated guesswork...

I really do refer to the Mark 3 model: I shopped it at a retailer in Berlin, Germany, two days before. Meanwhile I installed Capture one Express for Sony on my PC. Maybe it will be a nice experience to use an alternative to LR.

Use the Sony supplied software to convert the RAW files to TIFF then import those Tiff's into LR.

Got my 7RM3 in Wuerzburg a week ago. Living 2-4 months without LR RAW Support really blocks a lot of advantage in using LR. For the daily work it really matters when you are able to start a workflow. Working with patches and workarounds means wasting time and getting familar with other tools like PhaseOne (if this is the intend from Adobe?).

Would love to see faster engagements from Adobe for professional products compared to consumer as most of the pro community members pay their bill every month ...

Thank you Adobe!

Why don't you complain to Adobe? This is primarily a user-to-user forum, we can't help you.

Go to Lightroom Classic CC | Photoshop Family Customer Community and express your concern there.

Thank you for your advice. While I would agree for a User Forum discussing a cooking recipe this one is monitored and provided for users by Adobe. So it gives Adobe a pulse from the users and as you see it is well monitored.

Thanks again

Keep creating and have fun

It is not monitored by the people who can fix problems. The other forum I mentioned is monitored by people who can fix problems. please read this: Which forum should I post to? (Feedback vs Forums)

Never for those older versions of PS and Bridge/ACR.

Your only option is to use the Free DNG converter program to convert the 7/3 files to DNG files then they will open in your older version of Bridge/ACR and PS.
