Hello support community,
I have an issue with a user having to click "home" or "tools" when opening a PDF to get the customization of the tool bar to re-appear. We have reset the Windows profile, compared settings/preferences to other users, and nothing is correcting the issue.
Is there something I am missing for checking why this would be happening?
The customization comes back after clicking on one of the two areas mentioned above, but the user would like to not do so -- they want the tool bar to show the customization when opening a PDF without the extra mouse clicks.
Thanks!

Hi Jmv,
Sorry for the delay in response. Are you still facing this issue? If yes, please try following troubleshooting steps:
1- Check if there is an update available for Acrobat/Reader, launch Reader > navigate to help menu > select check for updates, reboot the machine after installing update and try again.
2- If that doesn't work, reset preferences for Acrobat using the steps given in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default.
3- If step 2 doesn't work, repair Acrobat/ Reader using repair installation option under Help menu, reboot the machine and check.
Could you let us know the application you are facing issues with- Adobe Reader/ Adobe Acrobat?
Also, operating installed on the machine- Mac/Windows?
Thanks,
Shivam
