Adobe stock unprompted subscription

Hi,

I'm currently subscribed to the student creative cloud plan in the UK (16,24£/mo). The other day whilst checking my bank account, I noticed that Adobe stock had taken 24£ out of my account. I never subscribed to Adobe stock! As part of my student subscription I get 10 Adobe stock files for free and I've downloaded 2 in the past but that's it, I never subscribed to a full plan.

How can they just take money out of my account like this?!

How can I get a refund and cancel the subscription?

Thanks,

Josh

Hi Joshua,

I'm sorry you had a poor experience and feel you were locked into a contract for Adobe Stock.

While going through your account I noticed that you did sign up for Creative Cloud Student and Teacher Edition (one-year) plan on 21st December 2017 and Adobe Stock (10images per month one-year) plan on 10th February 2018.

When you sign up for Adobe Stock promo offer(you also agree to certain terms and conditions), you get 10 images free for the first month(first- month free trial), Adobe doesn't charge you for the 1st month; the subscription billing actually starts from the second month.

You can also refer to Legal subscription terms | Adobe for more information.

If you wish to cancel your Stock subscription, please follow the steps in the help document as mentioned to understand the workflow: Cancel your Adobe Stock membership

For refund related requests, please contact our support team Support FAQ: How can I contact Adobe for support?

In case you are unable to reach our support team through the above-mentioned link, please see Contact Support FAQ: Unable to reach support through the "Contact US" link

Feel free to update this thread in case of any additional questions.

Twarita

Hi Twarita,

I've tried canceling the membership but I'm getting an error message (please see attached screenshot). What should I do?

Hi Twarita,

I've tried contacting the support team through the link, the chat is unavailable and the phone number doesn't work either.
