Hi,

I'm working on a project for a few days now and yesterday Audition started to behave strange. It started with the problem that I couldn't open the graphic eq on a Bus I created. The EQ Window opened and then the programm crashed. After restarting the application, the error was gone. Now, one day later, I'm not able to open any window at all. No matter what I'm trying to open (adding new vst effect to a track, open an existent vst effect window, open an already editet graphic eq) that causes a new window to open, the application crashes.

I Already reinstalled Audition including the latest updates but that changed a thing.

I copied the Audition Log File:

Your best bet is to follow the instructions in the FAQ here: Audition Crashed. Now what? and please note the second (final) post; errors like this get fixed best directly by the devs.

This is a Drawbot error (see ninth line up from the end of the log) - and it's happened to at least one other person too.

It's fundamentally a Windows API error (that's what the Drawbot is), not an Audition one. But that doesn't directly make it either Windows or Adobe's fault; in fact it's rather hard to tell from just the log. There are ways to reinstall it, according to M$, but I get the impression that if it isn't present, Adobe should install it anyway as part of a normal installation process. So it might be broken...

Initially, I'd uninstall and reinstall Audition. If that doesn't fix it, then you have to look a little more closely at a Microsoft solution.
