How can I download ONLY smart preview from LRCC to LRClassicCC

As topic,

My problem is when i use LRCC on ipad i choose to send all original file to the creative cloud, work only on smart preview and that’s great!

but when I switch to LRclassicCC and sync file, it download all my original file to my harddisk that I don’t have a lot of space. So I need an option to download only smart preview from creative cloud to LightroomClassicCC.

Can anyone please help me?

Sorry, but that's the way it works. Lightroom Classic will download all those images from the cloud that are not yet in its catalog, so if you add originals to the cloud, then Lightroom Classic will download those originals.

There is an option in the Lightroom CC preferences that will enable you to do that.

This was a feature that I mistakenly thought was not possible. However selondon in the Lightroom CC forum pointed out this feature to me a while back.
