at some point in the last year of updates and reinstalls, Acrobat consistently opens new or previously opened documents at about 233% despite my preferences

Documents: unchecked Restore last view setting when re-opening

Full screen: unchecked Fill screen with one page at a time

Page Display: Single Page, Zoom 75%

Accessiblity: unchecked Always use Page Layout Style

Accessibility: checked Always use Zoom Setting 75%

Most of the documents have bookmarks.

The monitors are 27inch 4k.

Acrobat Pro Doc version 2019.008.20080

Windows 10 Pro latest version

Nvidia P400

Search turned up a lot of similar complaints, but usually changing to the above settings fixed it for users. The only user that continued to have problem, the suggestion was made that bookmarks can force larger zoom levels. https://forums.adobe.com/message/10271194#10271194

Hi Len Raphael,

As per the issue description mentioned above, Acrobat opens all the pdfs at 233% zoom despite changing the preferences, is that correct?

Could you please try resetting preferences for Acrobat using the steps given in this link: How to reset Acrobat Preference settings to default. reboot the machine after resetting preferences and check if the behavior still continues?

Also, could you confirm if you have dual monitors set up?

Thanks,

Shivam
