Removing RANK from SEARCH

Is there a way to remove RANK from the side of Search results?

Unfortunately I am not aware of a way of removing the ranking, but why would you want to? It is one of the major benefits to the end user.

As pointed by experts here, RoboHTML 8 does not allow removal of rank in search. If you still want to remove rank from search, then you may need to edit the javascript file in webhelp output to do that.

I have a feeling someone posted how to change the ranking column width to zero. That doesn't remove its functionality but the user would not be aware of it.
