Hi,

how can I tell if I used my AdobeID 6 times?

I have a new device (others are broken and not in my possession anymore), I want to authorize this device, but after I type in my AdobeID, nothing happens.

Is there anywhere I can see how many devices I have authorized and is it possible to register more?

Thanks!

If you exceed registrations you should get a clearish error message: E_ACT_TOO_MANY_ACTIVATIONS

According to reply in thread  http://forums.adobe.com/thread/315051

"The correct path here is to open a tech support webcase, same as described in http://www.adobe.com/go/kb405200. Supply the email address used for your Adobe ID and we'll reset your activations."

I think when that happens, you will have to reregister all the devices you still want.

Unfortunately, Adobe DRM remains in a very primitive state, so does not support basic operations such as querying and changing registered devices by simple online query.

If you are really getting nothing happening rather than an error message, it could just be a bug in ADE.

Version 1.7.2 is the answer to many problems with ADE 2.0.

ADE2.0 regularly seems to have problems with Sony and Nook devices (and some others?), and with some Windows versions too.

Version 1.7.2, it is a little difficult to find, available on Adobe site for Windows and for Mac.

The forum software is sometimes corrupting the link above.  There shouldn't be a blank in 'editio ns.html'.  The following redirects to the same page: http://tinyurl.com/diged172
