FP won't work

I installed the latest version but it won'trun videos.  I get a msg that upgrade is needed.

Win 7 64 Bit

FP version w Active X 11.8.800.94

I've installed a number of versions but nothing has opened anything and I still get messages from the site I'm trying to open " you don't have FP!".
