Having random crashing issues with flash in IE11 on Windows 7 SP1 32 bit
Installed the current Flash - 16.0.0.257
Go to different websites, both with and without flash.
Will work successfully for anywhere from 1-30 mins and then 'crash' with:

Once it crashes there is no recovery other than a reboot. ie every website you go to will 'crash' with the flash error dialog box when trying to open the website.
Have tried uninstalling/reinstalling, clearing caches, turning off flash hardware acceleration. The last one seems to delay the problem from occurring, but it still occurs.
The same issue also occurs when using Chrome - so it's not just the IE version.
I have a customer pulling his (and my) hair out over this.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I noticed there's a new .280 beta available, but I am reluctant to try this on a production critical machine without some reassurance.
Thanks
Gary

Same thing started happening to me in the last 2 hours. It just puts up exclamation marks where flash should be. I cleared flash cache, history and closed window. Reopened and exclamation marks still there.

Hi Gary and Lilc73,
I'll follow up with the team to see if there's been a spike. As a regular Flash user on both Chrome and IE 11, I haven't seen these issues so there might be something else in the environment that is contributing. If we can get a crash dump then we might be able to find out more. The FAQ below should talk you through generating a .dmp but if you have problems please let me know (ccampbel@adobe.com)
How do I report a Flash Player crash to Adobe?
Thanks,
Chris
