When trying to install elements 11 I'm asked to enter password in response to a window that says "setup wants to make changes. Enter your password". When I do that the window jiggles but does not proceed to install

When I try to install Elements 13 on my Mac, from a disc, I get a window that says "setup wants to make changes. Type your password to allow this" WhenI click OK the window jiggles but installation does not proceed.

This screen is asking for your Computer Password to make the necessary changes. It's Mac mechanism to authenticate whether you are the Admin user or not.
