Serial number must be entered every time

I bought Photoshop Elements & Premier Elements via download from Amazon. I installed the software and entered the serial numbers. The numbers & products show in my Adobe ID. But I cannot use either product without logging into Adobe and having an internet connection.

Please advise how to fix this.
