i cannot download latest flash player...says my version of windows (10) came installed with it. had issues so I uninstalled it, consequently it will not allow me to re-install it as it says my version of windows already has it...and it no longer does....any remedies/suggestions?

As of Windows 8, Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE, and Edge in Windows 10.  They consider it a protected system file and lock the file to prevent its deletion.  Of course, nothing stops a user from unlocking the files and deleting the them, which appears to be what you have done.  Since Microsoft embeds Flash Player in IE/Edge all updates are released by Microsoft a separate standalone installer does not exist.  You can try one of the following to restore Flash Player to your system:

If neither of these work, you may need to re-install Windows.
