Hello everyone,
I have a problem with placing .png file. When I try to import .png file, it looks okay in workspace. However, once I hit the preview button, it turns out with black background. Any idea, please share. Thanks.
<in workspace>
<in preview page>
I had this same issue. After a lot of tinkering I fixed it by shrinking the source png. My original source was 8kx8k plus pixels and I shrunk it to 1920x3240. In Muse I was able to scale it up to where I needed it but when I previewed site the png retained its alpha layer. I think if its to big of an image muse was rasterizing it or something.

Could you please select the PNG image, open the "States" panel and check, if there is assigned a black background to the image container in "normal" state?
If not: Please attach the PNG file here, so we can have a look.

I checked the states panel but it was not assigned a black background. I attached the png file. Please see if there is anything wrong. Thanks.

There is no problem with your png file.
Clarify the situation will only help your project.muse

This usually happens when you place a PNG using copy / paste. Never use this method for PNG in general. Never use this method for all image formats in Muse in particular. Use only File / Place (Ctrl (Cmd) + D).

Never came across this, Pavel. I never used this "method" of uncontrolled pasting images into a layout.

Place this PNG onto a newly created .muse and let us have a look at this .muse file and the original PNG.
