new macbook pro with old hard drive files transfered over. I'm running Sierra 10.12.6. Somehow Acrobat Pro DC is now installed and when I open pdf flies the file opens momentarily and then the application crashes and get the notification that I need to restart.

I don't need to restart, I need Acrobat Pro DC to work properly. What's going on? How do I use this new application which seems to have automatically updated itself?
